Thanks Fish. She is a nice shooter too.

As for Eric... (Yoda voice on) Strong within you... the force is... yes. (Yoda voice off)

Really like your 7" upper too. Bought my pistol just for a place holder for a SBR, now I need to do the paperwork.... just been to lazy and diverting funds elsewhere. Need a can for my 22s too. Maybe this next year.

Thank you.. You have a nice assortment there as well..

Here's a few of mine.
Hoping to hear from LaRue about my PredatAR, I ordered 08/12. Hopefully I can get it before the two year mark.

I still have my CMMG gas piston AR, but haven't been paying much attention for a while. Probably due to the lack of available ammo. What are the triangular projections on the bottom of the handguards that seem to be pretty popular? Are they for referencing hand placement, or?

Take up reloading? components are plentiful if you know where to look. Just another reason to "buy it cheap and stack it deep"

Magpul angled foregrip: "AFG"
It is for proper grip, comfortable wrist angle, hand placement etc
They help a lot when you have a longer rail to actually extend them out. IHMO, unless you have really short arms, they aren't optimal and hardly useful on less than a 9-10" rail placed all the way out.
If you see them on a 7" or carbine length rail, just assume the user bought it for the CDI factor. When you hold it, you elbow should be pretty closed to being locked.

= )
How's this? I just wanted to show off the new to me scope. Lmao.

Sweet guns so far. I'm loving that SBR. I wish Illinois wasn't so weird about them.

I have one on my gun in this thread. I definitely didn't get it for the "CDI" factor. I just find it way more comfortable than just the handguard or a vertical grip. I don't see how having one on at the end of a carbine length guard is any different than people having vertical grips halfway down a mid or rifle length guard which you see all the time. Different stokes for different folks I guess.

Thanks JTR, its a RRA 7.5" AR pistol. Pretty compact little unit, fun to shoot, really just a placeholder till I get back into finances and will SBR it. The Noveske KX3 flash suppressor cuts it down nice, Prior to the install, you would see a LARGE fireball when shot, now it is more of a flame thrower, not so much in your face. Really just a fun range gun.

Here's my one AR-
null_zps302c4d4b.jpg

Its a 6920 upper/lower/BCG (all assembled by me) with a ACE stock and RRA free float rail. VLTOR light mount with a foursevens quark tactical QT2L-X and modified MBUS's. The EOTech is a 512 but I currently have a TA26 (mini-ACOG) on layaway and I'm also waiting on my stamp to start assembling my can.

The can will be 7 pressed K-baffles in a 1.25" I.D. body 10" long and connect via the QD muzzle break (my barrel is <16" so the break is pinned).
