3? Fixed it for you

The micarta does make it a steal.

Thank you for fixing that. Heaven forbid I don't have 4 4 5 6 7 ∞ of EVERY Becker . Like I need to explain THAT to SWMBO. Not that I would even try. She would smell the smoke (from my pants on fire).

I want it, posted at the same time as another user so we'll see how it goes. One look was all it took for me to make the decision, wow it's a looker of a mod.

I would agree on the looker part.....I wish you luck. I hate the exchange.

But I also totally LOVE the exchange. Bi-polar, I know. Live with it. I do.

German Shorthaired Pointer!
A great hunting/outdoors dog with a short coat, doesn't need bathing at a daily/weekly interval, strong nails so little maintenance is required, loves the woods and water alike, and is heat tolerant. On top of that, they are great for families.
Avg weight is 55-70 lbs

Cool dogs! I'll do some more reading on them!

Been strongly considering a Rhodesian ridgeback. Had a RR and bull mastiff mix as a kid. Awesome dog, but weighed over a hundred pounds.

They say a RR can keep up with a running horse for 30 miles... And can handle extreme heat being from Africa. Also immune to insects bites iirc.

Oh, shedding is not a deal breaker... I have a Shiba... They shed enough to make 3 more Shibas and a pony :D

Bighoss, got that stock in and it's badass bud! I was a bit worried the pistol grip monopod wouldn't be too secure, but the rifle stands on its own with the monopod bipod combo... On sand, grass, carpet... The bed lol

Smart idea! Mags in the butt is too.

Real glad I didn't go with the Hogue I was looking at now lol

Cool beans. Should be a lot of fun for ya'll. My dad bought a 10/22 when I was a kid to teach my brother and I to shoot. He still has it in the safe too. Back around '04 I bought my own and around '05 he got back from a tour in Iraq. Understandably he wasn't eager to go shooting anytime soon so he gave me the rifle and I held onto it for a while. Eventually he said he wanted to go shooting with me so we went out one day with the old 10/22 and some other stuff. It just happened to be close to his birthday so when we got back from plinking I gave him back the rifle.

Good luck Thorny!

My buddy has a Visla, those things go on forever.

Mmm pickles.

A good friend of mine has two. They are awesome dogs.

That's cool as hell! That one has a story, and sentimental value there!

I was given a 22lr when I was 12... Old cheap one, shot true though. Wish I still had it.

I can't wait to get the barrel and trigger assembly. But that's another 500 bucks there after shipping and all... Then another 230 for a vx1 rimfire scope.... Expensive ass 22... But if it shoots right it will be worth it... Already looks cool lol

The navy seals of dogs!!

Gallo: super cell. Wish I had that here, but it's just metamorphics and glacial erratics

Mostly

I love having had both the practice, materials, and tools on hand, but the time and energy to "do a thing" and do it right...

Good times...

Well, geology in itself is a massive scientific domain with lot's of things to observe and discover. It's never too late to pick things up again. Check a geo map of your general area and get started? It's awesome to get away from things/daily annoyances... There have been plenty of times that I haven't found much or even anything, yet I still treasure just being outside and putting something I move into practice.

I know no one wants to see repeats of these photos except for me. TOO BAD. But DAMN, G! You got ALL the teeth! That is just fascinating. So when are we gonna see some more pics of those dino-pine cones? I imagine they're getting close to being ready.....

It's been about a year since I visited the pinecone spot, I think. Maybe during spring of '16 I'll be back there. At the moment I'm too busy with work and the temporary location. That quarry won't run away, lol. The clay has dried but for some reason I never got to dissolve/screen any this summer... Oh well there's always next summer...

A new craft brewery opened up about a 10 minute walk from our place. Pretty handy for topping up that Becker growler. This could be trouble in the long run.
