Thanks for the smoke/prayers/thoughts fellas. His family can definitely use them. He left behind a wife and 3 daughters.

Too few hours in the day to get stuff done lately. The whole getting dark at 8:30 really puts a damper on plans. Gonna have to see about taking a few extra days off soon, so I can do a few things I need to do before winter and maybe sneak in some fun time too.

Great. Mike's upset. Now I'm upset. What am I supposed to believe in now that the Magic Jimping bubble has been burst? Gah, this is like the Santa debarcle when I was seven all over again. On the plus side, at least this time round I can drink booze..

I'm INCENSED! I just cannot believe the levels of rationality and "price/performance ratio" gibberish that comes out of this forum. You are all a bunch of down to earth, practical......gnostics. Seriously. You're all thinking WAY too much. I mean, if unicorn blood and wuffle dust don't make a knife awesome, then what does?!? There's NO way you can convince me that it's something as practical as design...or worse, something as banal as 1095CV.....it's not even a powdered supersteel! How is that even going to begin to slay the neighbors when they turn into zombies and start trying to eat your cats and brussels sprouts? I'm so outraged I don't even think I will be able to participate in this forum for the next few minutes. Sheesh!

Dang near got myself tangled up with a buzzworm at work tonight. SOB let me walk right by him within striking distance and trapped me on some stairs before letting me know he was even there.

REALLY? I heard the ESEE guys actually use their knives! How are you gonna rely on a knife in a life or death situation if it's already been beat on? PUH-leeze, pull my other one. Busse is another story. They have magic alright, but I suspect it's the kind of "magic" that happens from the drinking of a certain kind of Kool-Aid. Or ingesting some kinda "fungi". Just sayin'....and that's just voodoo economics, if you ask me. Plus those, ahem, holes....those things are just stress risers waiting to break right when you're fighting off a polar bear for the last seal. And if they don't break your knife, you'll probably end up with some mutant raptor's talon stuck in there while it rends you limb from limb. Seriously, those things are certain disaster just waiting to meet you in a dark alley somewhere. Or your back yard when the zombie apocalypse comes.

Damn, now I'm gonna hafta recuse myself for at LEAST 5 minutes.
 
I guess of all the people to actually be able to pull off running headshots, it'd be Jerry.

I like when he fell back on his training and did body shots like a normal person would do in a situation like that.
