I'll tell them a foreign national told me to do it when they ask why I burnt down a building and started a huge grass fire on a government installation on the anniversary of one of the worst terrorist attacks ever. AA fart in church would go over pretty dang well compared to that.

A friend of mine (Weaponeer...who seems to only lurk and never post...) shot the Rocky Mountain/Soldier of Fortune 3-Gun Match a few years ago and wound up shooting on the same squad as Jerry. Said he was one of the most down to earth and fun guys to shoot with. Sounds kind of like the "Ethan Becker" of guns.

I get that vibe from his videos. The concealed carry staple gun was pretty funny and his day-in-the-life video was awesome.
 
Several days without internet on the boat was LOVELY.

Thinking about doing a fitness GAW, and send a knife to Beckerheads who complete a "Spartan" Beckerhead fitness challenge (eg, earn 300 Beckerpoints via MYB or weights or both). Would any of y'all like to have an extra prize for going above-and-beyond on your fitness?

I just emptied more than my knife account. I am even....ah, considering selling some stuff. But I probably won't. I almost never do, even though I should. Most I've ever spent on one blade. Still gonna use it though - otherwise, what's the point?
 
Did some veggie chopping today with it. Wife said it needs to be an inch or two longer lol

If ya read the KaBar chat, you'll see I almost removed a finger with it (before official ownership lol)

I buy em, I use em. No sence owning nice things if you dont get em dirty.

If for some reason the RBK was released, id buy it and call it my birthday present lol

We have them :) I just make her suffer sometimes asking her to test out some of my knives and get a second opinion.

Her favourite is our cheap 8 inch santoku. Just because she doesn't worry about screwing it up and can toss it in the dishwasher. The 9 inch blank that I put handles on has a better edge and geometry but she dislikes it because she has to hand wash it when she is done. She even likes the 5 and 15 for meat carving, but again... I won't let her put it in the dishwasher so she would rather grab her go_to santoku

Hence the reason I hesitate getting her anything nice :(

Zathras can never have anything nice.

I had to ask my wife not to use my nakiri on the salt cutting board. Seems she didn't realize that using a ROCK for a cutting board is maybe not so good for the knife you're using....If I catch her again, I will hide ALL the good kitchen knives. Still working on the "dry after washing" thing...I keep finding them wet on the sideboard. RrrRRrr.....
