Arkansas Custom Knife Show 2012-Show Us what you Got

Kyle,
You hit this one out of the park. The damascus is way cool. Not bad for your "fanciest bowie to date".

I really like the mix of damascus and the inlayed details are amazing. Very nice work Kyle!
Kevin

Fine knives, going to be a Great Show!

Kyle, what an elegant piece, your skills are scary.

Bruce, that's got to be one of the coolest knives I have seen. When I initially saw the knife I was a
little confused by the handle shape and then the next photo a beautiful folder dropped out of it.
Is Jere Davidson the engraver?

Since I'm picking this one up at Arkansas, I thought it appropriate to include it here for future reference.

Bruce... I wondered why the handle looked big but then you pulled the rabbit out of the hat.. Big smile on my face.. Really cool idea.

Kyle.. not only is that damascus hypnotizing but I just keep looking at the details and wonder how the heck you even made them. Crazy.

That John White is classic.

Kevin beat me to it, but guess I'd better post what I'm bringing, though I'm planning to spend some serious time looking at the fantastic knives already shown by others!

Wow there are going to be some really extraordinary pieces at the show. Kyle that bowie is outstanding. Truly exceptional work. All I can say about Bruce's bowie is that is so cool. Kevin I was hoping John's bowie would be at the show. I look forward to seeing all the great knives. Makes me just want to leave mine at home.
Well any how here are three that will be there. Nothing that will compare to what has already been seen. A basic hunter in 1084 and ironwood with a 800gr finish. A southwest personal, also in 1084 and ironwood, but with a hamon. Then the persian which is done, in W-2 with dark ironwood, stainlessand a bronze spacer. I think it really needs to be seen and handled in person, just makes you want to go cut something. I will have a couple more, both with stag. A recurve for delivery, and a small bowie.
I am looking forward to this, see everyone Friday.

Brion, nice! I like the Persian and the clip point especially!

See you guy soon! :D

Thanks guys!
Kyle, I gotta agree with everybody. Thats just jaw dropping beautiful. The inlays really set it off.

Always a big finish as we near show time - thanks guys! Brion - that Persian turned out beautifully. John - that walrus artifact number - WANT!

Here is an Arkansas Toothpick that will be on my table:

By the way, the inspiration for this knife came from a visit to the Historic Arkansas Museum which is just around the corner from the show. Here is the knife that got me going:

Man I cannot wait to get to Little Rock. Talk about A game knives, man there are so many great looking pieces on this thread. Kevin I saw the D-Guard in San Antonio but am really looking forward to seeing the finished piece. It is an outstanding knife as are all of the other's on the thread.

See you all at the show!!

Jon

A bunch of really great looking knives (Bump, Royer and White to name a few). Boy, I'm really living in the wrong country with only one (mediocre) knifeshow. The guys that are going have a great time and any additional photos are always welcome.
