Arkansas Custom Knife Show 2013 - Show Us what you Got

Well, I,m committed now. Just spent almost $600 for airfare.

Hey I have a bunch of free passes to the show if anybody wants any let me know. Some are one day and also a few VIP passes. The only catch is you have to stop by my table and say hello.

Here's that pointy fighter, with it's new Paul Long sheath. The sheath has "little bitty tiny alligator skin" insert leather, and both will be on the Arkansas table.

This one may or may not be there, but look at that monster sheath, anyway,

Should have pics of the feather blade with a Pre-Ban handle in a couple days or so.

Beautiful work as usual Mr. White.
Looking forward to seeing your work in person, and
Some of the other far travelled craftsman .

Time to bring this thread up from the depths with a sweet hunter that will grace the table of Bud Richards at Little Rock:

I am looking forward to that day, Tad!

We need all makers who are planning to enter the Performance Bowie contest in Little Rock to please confirm their entry by February 1, 2013 via an email to the Association at aka@alliancecable.net so supplies can be acquired.

Thanks

Wow, after seeing some of what the rest of you are taking, I'm scared to even show up. lol. Here is the only thing I have finished for the show:

Here's the 7 inch "W" Feather Bowie blade, with Pre-Ban Ivory frame handle.

The flared guard and collar are hardened and tempered "W" multi-bar damascus, and the accent spacers and three-piece frame are file-worked stainless steel.

This one is on the way to Paul Long for a fancy sheath, then it'll be shown at the Arkansas show next Feb. 16th & 17th in Little Rock.

You're going to have some amazing pieces on your table again this year. Looking forward to seeing them first hand.

Here's a peek at a 1095/420 San Mai Fighter for my table.
Hot-blued guard, harpoon clip, extraordinary Ironwood handle.
(She's pretty sweet!;))

This an interpretation of two noteworthy Sheffield cutlers, Chevalier and George Woodhead. The 8 1/4 inch blade is W2 steel, the fittings are German Silver, and the handle materials are Mammoth and Stag. This Bowie knife is assembled much in the same way the old ones were.
