Arkansas Knife Show 2011-Show Us what you Got

Roger unfortunately I won't be there so I will never see that DH3 knife. It really has to be one of my favorites. Look at that ivory! Kyle that knife is killer and the workmanship is insane!

There is some beautiful work in this thread.

Here is one I will deliver to the Arkansas Show. Lin

Here is another knife I'll have on my table at the show.

It's a damascus hunter with Steve Dunn engraving and 24 K gold inlay on the guard, Sambar Stag frame handle and beaded corby bolts in the handle.

Caleb just finished the picture today.

Lin, your knife is awesome!!! Such a great design it sums up contemporary knife making to me in a lot of ways.
What kind of wood is the handle made from?

Kyle, your knife is awesome too. I really really really like the look of the beading on those pins. That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, and it adds huge pop to an already poppin knife:thumbup:

Lin that could be my favorite of your subhilts. It looks absolutely wonderful and I know how comfy those things are to hold. I really am jealous. This thread is killing me!

think I have seen my favorite DH knife. that one is superb Don. Looking forward to seeing what folks will have at Blade.

AWESOME subhilt Lin! Kind of hard to tell for sure, but looks like Walnut on the handle? The damascus is STUNNING!

Nice hunter Kyle. REALLY nice damascus/etch. The beaded rivets are cool, but I think engraved flowers on the pins would compliment the engraving better.

Peter

that Horrigan laminated knife is freakin INSANE:eek::eek::eek:

Oh man, that ivory piece from John is absolutely outstanding! The embellishments are gorgeous, but honestly, even the simple lines and flow of the profile trip me out --- what a great Bowie!

You're a stud John :D

John's laminates are outstanding and I quite like the ironwood / damascus piece as well.

Roger

John those are some good looking knives as expected. More to look forward to seeing at the show. Both knives look superb.

Lin the SH is another stellar piece out from your shop. Looks like the makers are bringing the good stuff, should make for a great show.

Jon

WOW!!! Those Horrigan knives are OUTSTANDING!! GREAT work John!

I especially like that fluted ivory handled, laminated one!

Peter

Charlie and I will be taking this one to Little Rock with us. We have a few others in the works, but they aren't ready for pictures yet. We really look forward to the Little Rock show each year. The economy has recovered (Obama said so... I heard him read it), taxes aren't going to be raised, so bring plenty of money and a good attitude. Course if this was all true, we wouldn't have this one on the table! :D

This one carved a smile on my face:)

I am not completely finished with this one, but I am liking it. In fact I am starting to think it might look good on my hip. But, then again it is also nice to sell them. So, we will see how I am feeling at the end of the week.
