I thought Korea was supposed to be all hot and nasty all the time...


My last year living in Chicago cars were LITERALLY freezing to the road.

Im use to hot and nasty, during the 14 months i was in Korea it was cold and snowed from like end of October to beginning of March. Im not use to that HAHA, i dont like the cold or snow, but i did love snowboarding.

Didn't you ever watch MASH? Google "the Frozen Chosin" for stories about an absolutely awful winter battle between UN and Chinese troops.

Surprisingly I wouldn't mind that so much. ;) just missing the much needed talent portion of that requirement. Maybe one of these days!
 
It was mid 80's yesterday, just beautiful..
The weatherman I like here is the most non-sensationalist in my opinion of our 4 local news stations. he is much more reserved and experienced than all the others.. well he is predicting we might have some frozen precipitation this thursday/friday.. Would be cool to get actual snow down here.

Mornin', Beckerfolk. Not looking forward to work today. Straight eight-hour shift at one job, then run direct to the second job for an overnighter till 6am moving exercise equipment around. Grump grump.
 
It got (really) cold again. Dodge won't start again.

Where's that Terrio guy, I need to apply for an apprenticeship.
 
Their was a shooting at purdue university (where my sister goes). She sent me this picture.

 
Not technically a "school shooting" rampage like in the past. Apparently, the guy went to the school to kill this one particular guy, then he gave himself up to police.
 
Glad things didn't get too crazy.

Sharpening my Beckers and eating a bowl of oyakudon put me in a better mood before work.
