It'll only hurt till the pain goes away. It will definitely stick out like... well, like a sore thumb for quite a while, I'm certain.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like only flesh was cut away. That's a good thing. I certainly hope the bone wasn't cut or crushed... I'm pretty sure that would make things a lot more complicated. Even so, playing video games is going to take some getting used to from now on... Regardless, thoughts and prayers for quick healing are inbound.
