Good point Jason (If I may ask please Has ART paid anyone else back other than those stated? Did we miss something? :-) Heck ART was just online here AS OF TODAY, If he was doing time as you mention, I have no doubt that he'd still be here on line viewing tommorrow :-)
I believe a Mod. said awhile back he was not being Banned in order to keep the lines of Communication open for those to be repaid. Hmmm NO repayment?
No communication? More lies? Others were banned in this VERY thread for MUCH less than repeated Stealing and lying wouldnt you agree?, huh go figure ? Hence Many STILL at loss, AND now those STILL out $$$ months later have the privildge of shareing Bandwidth daily with the honorable Mr. Sigmon. Art was on here again just a few minutes ago, and once again did not post. It doesn't seem that keeping the lines of communication open is of any use whatsoever. He doesn't seem to have what it takes to face those he has wronged.
 
Maybe I missed something in this thread,but what happend to all the money from the land sale.Certainly it should be more than enough to pay off the few people he owes here,no?
 
It is sad that back on the first few pages, he had people actually defending him, not for his actions, but to give him a chance. Art has let them down as well. Much of this business is based on trust. Art now represents a new benchmark in whats bad for this industry, and what we don't want to have around.

Besides which BF is an open forum, getting banned here only means you can't post. And he isn't. So what's the big deal? He'd still be able to read this regardless of membership. I'm pretty sure you (loandr) got your point across on the multiple forums where you posted about him. Repeatedly. And don't get me wrong, I wouldn't do biz with Art at this point either, but beating a dead horse doesn't seem to be helping your case.

I hope more people get paid back without having to take art to court for it.:thumbup: But I don't think it will really work out that way.:thumbdn:

The point is sometimes we can lose sight of our real goals in favor of things that are not really as important as they seem. Seeing him banned from posting is not really the donut we're after here.

No case to help sir, just feel bad for those still at loss AND for those whom generously offered their own $ and goods to help compensate those at loss, for they should be repaid as well. Hence only reason funds recooped personally was due to the persistance which you mention. Hope all works out for those still out $$$ or goods. Thanks again.

Art has sold land and several knives to "supposedly" repay those that he owes. If those that he owes have not received payment, I highly doubt that they will.

His failure to remit and his constant lurking . . . . only makes him a bigger POS, IMO !
 
He still owes me $175, and I have not been repaid by him, nor has he made any attempt to contact me at all since early September.

I have been compensated due to the kindness of others, but I'd really like for him to pay me back so I can return the money to them.
 
The more I think about it, Art can't really say anything that would do him any good. He could make an excuse and get completely shot up. Im not trying to defend him, just take a peek from his side and its pretty easy to understand why he wont talk at all.
 
I have a friend who gave this piece of crap 190 bucks becuase he felt sorry for him(and for Art not to have to sell his knifes) and he's shit outta luck man. Just hearing his name makes my name boil:mad: ....and this guy can no way afford to lose that kind of money.Art.... While it's true that he'd get eaten alive if he posted, it doesn't / hasn't prevented him from contacting those that he owes privately.

That sure as helll hasn't happened.

He's aware of those he owes. Sh*t, the bunghole watches this thread like a hawk.

Just a quick question...
loandr. got his money back by threating/beginning to take legal action- why don't the rest of yall do the same. If you have writen records of the transaction with both parties signatures, then a lawer wouldn't be neccesary would it? This means that he will pay you back one way or the other... either under pressure from you, or pressure from the law. If it comes down to the law, then you have the right to ask for more money as compensation for having to go to court and remove time from possible work hours.
This would work, right?
