ARtsig1?

"You would think in a sign of support and solidarity ALL knife related forums would ban his scamming ass each and every time he appears.

He posts over there in general knife discussions like none of this is in his past.

Bizarre to allow it......................Wolfmann."

Good points sir and what I've been trying to say. Arts last post on JZ was stomped on by M1marty in quite the comical way (I wont post cross links to threads unless requested:-) It was actually a pretty funny statement, and Art has STFU at JZ since. Still the above quote is a Damm good one to LIVE by IMHO, it would be reassuring to those still at loss, Im sure! If more people/Admin. saw it that way, no doubt.

OK, ok kids lets not throw stones and do the one site vs. another site dance.

he does lurk "there" as much as he lurks here.

do you want the stats as to how many times hes posted in total? look it up.....

we dont hide anything and there are *stickied* threads regarding his conduct.

please read all evidence before giving your decision on matters at hand.

would banning him stop him from paying anyone back? I dont think banning him from anywhere has done any good.

it is sad to say, that in this case, I too was wrong and bet on the wrong horse.

if anyone has any further views on Jerzee Devil business please PM or email me.

Id prefer not being grouped in here!

"would banning him stop him from paying anyone back?" Labella

Since brought up...NO actually i think it would encourage him!...in order to stay a part of the communities that are important enough to him to visit, even after having issues with IMHO . As far as Wrong horse?...YOU placed NO bets Ron and called it as you've seen it, regardless of the outcome, we have spoken and I think you are doing/ and have done ALL you can for what its worth short of a bann. the "heads up" has been waved at JZ in an appropriate fashion no doubt. Thanks for the input you bastard! And i say that affectionately.:D

For my one cent...
I think that Art should be banned for the thief that he is from all the places that he lurks. I find it amazing and BRAZREN that ARTSIG1 does post the occassional very short post. I guess I just don't underestimate people enuf at times.
I thought he would come through but ...... NOT!!!!

Tom

Sorry Ron but I stand by my belief that he should NOT be allowed to act like a knife knut. On Nov. 08 he is welcoming Les Robertson and praising a knife like nothing has happened in his life.

If he gets to act like a respected member of a knife community, any knife community there simply is no incentive for him to pony up. Hell, there isn't even an incentive to feel guilty!!!!

If Art loves the world of knives like he says he does and his priviledge to belong is suspended on every level maybe he will find it desirable to pay those he owes in order to restore his priviledges.

This has nothing to do with JD or any other specific forum and should not be construed to be some sort of shot at JD. It is simply my opinion that the entire knife world needs to show this scumbag the door. Nothing less will prove effective............................

I do what I can.....:D
On a serious note, I agree with Wolffman and Loandr. I think Art should be shown the door. I don't have a stake in this other than I dislike crooks sharing the places I call home.

It seems U R NOT alone in that opinion sir.

This isn't the place to talk to LaBella about how he runs Jerzee Devil. Go to Jerzee Devil and talk about it there, or email him.

My comments are meant to encompass all knife related forums and not one in particular.

I simply voiced my opinion tht Art should be banned from every knife forum on the net and those that allow him to enjoy a membership *in my opinion* are wrong and no "discusiion" will change my opinion.

Again, my comments are not directed at Labella's forum in particular and like all the other knife forums around it is the forum's owner who dictates what is acceptable and what is not. Forums are not democratic so there is no benefit in "discussions".

Therefore, all a forum member has is his/her opinion...........:D

Opinions ?

HA We don't need no stinkin' opinions. Especially, when we know the facts and truth.

Wanna know my opinion ? :D

Just curious, can someone explain why this guy isn't in any legal trouble for stealing hundreds of dollars from multiple people? Seems like there should be a law against that.

There are lots of laws against it, and potential recourse to Federal and state courts. Unfortunately, his thefts occured over a period of time in many different jurisdictions, under slightly different circumstances each time, and it's hard to get it all together without spending more money than he already stole.

Evidently, a credible threat of legal action got someone reimbursed. I agree it's worth trying.

I have a question about this pos besides the one about why hasn't this "alleged" thief been banned yet.

It seems to me that this Artsig sells an awful lot of knives. Is he buying these knives just for the purpose of reselling them or what?

If so, shouldn't he have purchased a Dealer's membership here. Isn't dealing a bannable offense here at BF if you don't have a dealer's license?

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see this thief shirk the rules of anywhere he belonged just to make a buck.

Whatta ****ing scumbag!

Believe me. . . . .Art wasn't a "dealer". . . . .in knives. :D

Art couldn't narrow his desires down as to "the perfect" EDC (which is an almost impossible task, IMO). So, he would bounce from eye-candy to eye-candy (for example, he would focus on Carson M-4's. . . .then Sebenza's. . . . .then this. . . . .then that) always claiming to have found "the perfect" knife.

He would purchase 3, 4 or 5 knives from a particular maker/manufacturer that tickled his fancy, that month. It wasn't uncommon for him to send the knives back to the maker for "special upgrades."

Of course, new eye-candy would appear and he was off to the races in trying to sell the knives so that he could purchase the delights that currently taunted him.

It was a comical, revolving door.

Everyone knew that in a month or so, said knives would appear in the "Custom For Sale Forum" at outrageously low prices. :D

I think that's why some people let him slide. Helll, it wasn't uncommon for him to sell a $500 (or more) knife for $300 - $350.

Thanks, Gig.

Man, this guy is something else. What a character.

This is getting too close to the bottom of the page.

"I emailed Art and he replied back that he would be sending money out next week to some of those he still owes. I'm not gonna hold my breath though 10/30..." Quote lnickels45.

Its nice to see a "Bottom" make his way back to the top. ONE way or another.
Larry man sorry to hear NO refund still, especially after Arts last promise on 10/30. He is truly a despicable being and NOT worthy of the bandwidth he has taken up here. All we can hope at this point is that his deviant ethics and morals aren't being passed along to the Children that he supossively teach, that alone is a f--king crime IMHO:( Perhaps one day Art can assist in the instruction of something more productive, Such as License plates, till that day, justice has NOT BEEN SERVED. i guess we ARE truly now seeing the BIG picture BF Admin. spoke of, and they were right on?, Art is a hole! And while yes regardless of forum staus he may still have access (being a public forum) BUT perhaps saying Bye-Bye to this scum would send a small message as to what is and isnt tolerated by some. .
