I actually collect 113*s.
But how many knives do I need that I know I'll never use?
I looks great, but I can only imagine the hot spots that handle would create if you were to actually use it while hunting.

Put a micarta handle on it and it would be a winner.
In fact, add micarta to the Custom Shop 113 options and you'd have a great hunting knife.

I WANT one because it's a beauty, but.....I do have all manner of Buck fixes for any task, so will be practical and regretfully let it pass. Sigh.

There are still 113 available as of this time. That 113 from last year took a long time to sell out. But it was $65 more. Even though I ordered one, I am a little underwhelmed, since the possibilities of what it could have been were more exciting.

Yeah, that was me a few months ago when they had the stealth run of 112s in Magnacut. Now that he missed out on those, you see who's always complaining that the Buck Custom Shop needs to offer a 112 in Magnacut, don't you?

I have a couple of unused 113s that will likely end up in the For Sale section at some point so I'm taking a pass on this as well. Congrats to those that grab one though.

I'm happy that I spent my money on a 113 (for more money) from the Custom Shop on a 113 with elk handles and Magna-cut blade.

I hear ya, I do, but I have more knives than I'll ever need(like many here). The truth...I carried a 113 on a four day fishing trip a few weeks ago and ended up wishing I'd have carried my 118 as I usually do. The 113 worked but I'm so use to the 118.

No don't, you'd probably post a really cool pic that would entice me to buy one as well.

Ok, here is another reason to get it. If you bought the 110 and 112 Richlites, you'll want this one to complete the set.

Yes, I am more of a collector than a user. I have (like almost everyone here) more knives than I could ever use. I don't collect 110s as much but lately I've been getting some that are companions to the 112s. You know, BCCI, for instance would make a 110 in some material and then later make a 112 in that same material.

Yes.

I agree. I like scalloped impala, water buffalo, or impala scalloped water buffalo way more than Richlite. Also, broiled (or grilled) scallops with butter is one of my favorite indulgences.
