My Kershaw Zing survived a few runovers, and I still have it and it's still pretty ok....pocket clip got mashed and the G10's a little scarred...
On another note, I ride my bicycle a lot most years, and I have a friend who I am always comparing notes with about what we found while out riding....he finds a LOT of nice sunglasses, I usually find tools and the odd something or other. A couple years ago I was zipping along trying to keep up with an acquaintance I'd run into and this piece of blue plastic caught my eye; I just jammed the brakes, circled back, grabbed the thing and shoved it into my jersey pocket. When I got home, I found out I was the owner of a perfectly functional, none too beat up Sony Digital video camera. Tried to figure out who it belonged to but couldn't, so I ordered a battery and charger for it and I've had it for 3 years now. The cop's wallet that I found, however...I couldn't return that thing fast enough.
" for his benefit, I was going to say something the affect of "SBK is the one not dropping it, not me" but that would be exactly what he was saying, this way a made a joke that everyone thought was funny without making anyone (me) look "lost(er)".
