One time I got drunk on the river and lost my BK14. It was returned later that day by my uncle who'd found it on a sand bar after I had already paddled away. I bought him a BK14 not long after that.

What do you mean one time?

I went to a Hooters once a few years ago. The view was nice but the food was mediocre at best.

Last time I ate in a hooters, in Denver I got food poisoning.. last time I plan on eating there. That and eating fried chicken wings is like mainlining crisco...

I lost a Schrade X timer at work last year about this time while loading a truck. It got caught on some wrap and I never noticed it gone until I finished loading and sent it on the way. I tried to track it down by talking to the drivers but nobody found it. Looks like somebody is enjoying a well used but still very nice blade with all but a tiny bit of the blade coating left on.

No big deal as it gave me an excuse to replace it!

Neither would I, and I don't.....but I always have the folder on me, because I can't always carry the 16, 15, 9, 12, 2, 4, 5 or 11 on my person. Someday, when you have an actual job, this may be easier to wrap your head around....
I usually carry a 11 with me at work, and a tweener/Esee 3 in my bag. I don't know if what I have is a job job though. I have a white collar job though.

Oh darn. Now Pysop will never be able to afford pants, the dread, how will he go on.... :p
Jeez I think we all need to buy a sheath so he can afford some pants. Hell, he's in college, we don't need him to get arrested!

I have been there enough to last me a life time.
I've been there once... It was enough to last me a life time too. There are places to see better breasts and get better wings in the process.

One time, not the "only" time. Semantics are important! And yeah the food isn't worth the paper the receipt is printed on.

I got a CRKT M16 years ago and carried it every day since. Lost it at work about a year ago but I wasn't very bummed because I had already replaced it and was keeping it on my work gear because I wasn't afraid to lose it. Several months later I saw it on one of my supervisor's vests and he offered to give it back but I told him to keep it.

One of the nice things about having a bunch a knives is giving the old ones you don't want anymore to other folks. Even my worn-out throw aways are 20 times better than most of the crap a lot of guys carry. It also keeps them from asking to borrow my knife.

Does anyone else have one of these? I haven't tried it as a bearing block yet but it throws a lot of sparks off of the flint and quartz I tried it on. It should throw decent sparks off of a ferro rod too. Not a bad piece of kit.

In my opinion, Ethan should start making accessories like this as well. What do you guys think?

I almost bought one of these. I bought a "regular" C steel instead. Half the price, but it doesn't have the bearing block though.

Wow.

I have a Wolf Creek Forge steel striker and this Esee striker throws a lot better sparks. Plus I found it for $21.95 so it wasn't that bad.

Well I've just spent the entire day ailing from what we now know as the "Tradewater Two-Flush" from a short time back.

For those keeping score at home, the back hatch is ahead of the front hatch 10-5.

wow.. that looks good. Dubz, that belt buckle version looks very handy. i would buy one.

I've seen those around, I've never actually used one. To be fair I couldn't pick flint out of a rock bed if it was labeled with a neon sign! Ok, maybe if it was labeled with a neon sign I could but otherwise, nah. I do think Ethan should get into accessories however not quite so chotchkis.

That looks mostly edible! Not sure what that green stuff in the bottom corner is or at least what it's doing on that plate.

I, for one, would rather NOT know the score. Thank you in advance...

But hope you feel better soon.
