i'd hit that :> will look for it..

if you noticed my food picture, i got a few of those bottles in the background...

Scrolling through the replies, I immediately noticed the bottle beyond the porcine, then the next post from Murphnuge is a photo of that same beer.

That is one hell of a coincidence...

So, after 4 gate changes at DFW, it appears we have a plane arriving that will take us to our final destination. Usually American Airlines has these shenanigans on Friday nights, but it must be a special occasion. Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight....

I hate air travel! But a good road trip is irresistible!! My little brother and I went to Aspen a couple of summers back. Most definitely the most relaxing vacation I've ever had, ever. You know what I mean?

Voodoo Doughnut Beer? I dunno about that. Their doughnuts are hit and miss. They specialize in that "420 munchies" state of mind which involves covering their doughnuts with anything left in the fridge or pantry, mostly stale cereal (it really is stale....MISS). VD does have a pretty good maple bacon bar with maple glaze and a slice of bacon on top (HIT) and the Big Texas is perhaps the largest doughnut I've ever eaten (HIT).

Anyway, I suspect the beer would be the same (hit or miss) even though it's made by Rouge. Rouge aren't that bad on the micro brew circuit, but.........eh, I'm not too sure about it. How was it?

Actually pretty tasty! I have no experience with the actual Voodoo doughnuts and from the way it sounds I don't really care to. The beer was definitely one of those drink it despite the label type beers.

It is, I submitted that while still back a couple pages. I was surprised when it was posted.

Earlier today I was trying to decide whether or not I should go try catch some fish or not. I hadn't been out for a few weeks, so I wasn't sure what the ice was like. I ended up calling a buddy to see if he wanted to go out with me and he was just driving onto the lake........well that got my butt in gear and I headed out. Fishing was really really slow and then all of a sudden I was swarmed with walleye. I ended up catching 15 walleye in an hour and a half. Brought home four of them to fillet and my buddy and his dad both took home their limit of 5. Twas an awesome night and a great reminder that it is always better to get off your butt and do something rather than sit on the couch.

Earlier today I had some real good smoked brisket and pulled pork at this little shack in Watseka IL. There was a not so tough choice whether to stop at McDonalds(:barf:)or the place just to the left with a huge smoker infront of it. Unfortunately there are no pictures of the said brisket:(.

Had another that was pretty tasty. I think in all I tried 8 or 9 different beers Sat/Sun.

Cleaver. Todd has a thing with cleavers. They are pretty darn handy, and pretty cool looking.

Yep i just seen it on Todd's Sub-forum. Very very nice. I can see some nice wood scales on that mini hatchet too... Both are going to be super cool!

After many trials and tribulations, and a lot of general procrastination, I finally have finished my Sig P220. Tomorrow I'm going shooting.
