Thanks for the preview of things to come!

Yeah!! First Pic of the Waynorth version! Mine are waiting at my USA PO box! Tomorrow I get to CF and CE them, and bring one home!!!:)
To those who keep track:
FYI, there were 94 of the first quality SFO Boy's Knives made, plus 6 "store" grade knives. This usually means minor cosmetic flaws. They are marked "S" on the tang.
GEC does not call them seconds. They all function perfectly, but are not sold through the usual dealers.

My M&G knives arrived on Saturday but I’ve been so busy that I’ve barely had a chance to get some quality CFing and CEing. These, along with the Ancient Spear Barlow are definitely the jewels of this run and the the ones I managed to get a hold of. I tried to get Charlie’s chain knife at the last minute but it didn’t pan out.

Excellent quality all around. I was worried the chain wouldn’t be long enough but for standard use it’s plenty. These really nail it for me. The spear is my favorite blade shape.

draggat, you certainly scored the one I couldn't on that Ancient Barlow and it's a beauty! One day I'll get one of those, somehow. I really want to find a scratted from the first Ancients.
I barely was able to get one of Charlie's Boys Bar Clip chains. Hen's teeth, this is what makes it fun!

I kept checking the sites, waiting for drops... Nothing... Not even a peek.
But, I've probably spent enough money this week already. Save my pennies.
They sure are pretty though. The bar shield really ties it all together.

I was going to remove the button hook and attach a pocket watch. In fact, I have a knife with a bail and an old pocket watch. I think I'll order up a chain and try it out myself.

Fine pictures, MCar!! Makes the knife look incredible!!
Thanks, waynorth waynorth . I think the knife makes the pictures rather than the pictures making the knife. This sure is a wonderful one. So glad I was able to get my mitts on one! This is one of the best SFOs you ever come up with.

I'm a pretty big fan of the crescent nail nick over the longpull nick. I pretty much always like it better, but it's really hands-down the better option (for me) on clip points. So, originally, I really had wished that waynorth waynorth selected the crescent nick for his SFO (but, hey, can't get everything you want). But now that I've had it in-hand for a day, I just love the longpull. I think there's visual "play" between the longpull nail nick and the bar shield that compliments the sleeve board pattern. Really great knife.

I usually prefer a crescent nick myself. But seldom need one on a clip blade that sits high in the frame like the 15 does or as I suspect the 14 will be. The long pull adds panache.
