Balzano Completes His Second Knife...

I just got off the phone with Paulo. We have agreed to work out a repayment plan, whether that be knives or money owed. At this point, I will take what he has promised at face value but feel like he is committed to making things right. I will be sure to post updates here.

My god. I wouldn't deal with any of you people saying these strange stories. And if I was BHQ I would get that payment back in the form of cash. Anyone who reads this garbage wouldn't touch one of his knives. Do keep us updated BHQ. I hope you get your money back but I doubt it. The rest of you involved should probably stop posting because it is making you all look extremely bad.

Glad to see you you folks might be made whole. Hopefully one day Paulo Balzano will step up and send me the FOU folder he owes me.

If people would quit buying imaginary knives, this kind of stuff wouldn't happen. Besides that, you can swing a cat and hit 500 titanium framelocks. How does anyone get conned here? That's like standing in the parking lot of a grocery store, and offering people money to make you a bag of chips.

The best part is grown mean talking about getting in the ring and signing waviers wtf it's like meet me at the park after school " insert punching open hand " for tuffness.

Absolutely agree but I purchased a non existant folder from Paulo balzano almost 3 years ago. A lesson well learned

I have a shop in Orange. Always have. Paulo, a couple others and myself pooled all of our machines together in this spot and we run our individual businesses within one shop. I do not have anything to do with Balzano Knives, his sales, his emails, his texts, his DM's, etc. Paulo Balzano and Paulo Balzano alone is Balzano Knives. It's quite simple to understand so not sure why anyone struggles with this so much. Paulo and I have worked together on things and it has always gone well between the two of us. I've machined parts for him and everytime it has gone well. He's supplied good files, deposits and paid his balances when parts are completed as any good customer of mine does. Regardless of him being in the same shop it's handled as any dealing would be handled between client/vendor.

The majority of his knives he makes himself manually on his machines he owns and has here at the shop. I've made parts for him and will be making the parts for his Kickstarter. By trying to maliciously shut his Kickstarter down you'll be hurting many small businesses including mine, our local waterjet vendor, a heat treat shop here in California, and anyone else that's owed money or knives by him including BladeHQ. FOU's are currently in process and will be completed shortly, I can guarantee this.

Paulo is a friend of mine, sticking up for him is what any friend would do. Funny how FlipinBean bean hates on this so hard when he's doing the same exact thing for Arena every single day of his life. Only difference is what Flipin bean keeps talking about he had absolutely nothing to do with himself. I was involved from the very beginning between those dealings between Paulo, myself and PDW. For the record, PDW shafted him, as they did me on a separate job as well as at least four other well known makers that I'm aware of. There's a reason nobody wants to work with them. Funny how it was all blamed on Paulo because he's a "thief" and "drug addict" when the only person that stole anything was Arena Knives from my waterjet vendor and the "drugs" we're Paulo's girlfriends prescription (which was a full unopened bottle) in his car.

I can't deny Paulo owes anything to anyone but that has nothing to do with me or my business.

I would hope you would care about the knife community and help make people whole rather then just seeing it as a source of income for yourself.

I absolutely do care about the community that's why I do what I do. This isn't about a buck for me it's about knives, friends and the community in general which is why I've done what I can to help Paulo get on his feet and get knives out there. Like I've said dozens of times, I don't work at "Balzano Knives" I have nothing to do with his business or running his business, books, orders, or any correspondence he has with anyone other than myself so I don't know who is owed what or when whatever was ordered but I do know he's not maliciously taking payment and not delivering on purpose. If anyone wants to see what he's up to you're more than welcome to check out his Instagram and see for yourself. He's extremely open about his process, what's on his bench and so on.

FOU's are currently in process, I know this for fact. Again, I don't k ow how many people ordered them but I know there are a bunch of them and they're wrapping up soon.

I run my own successful business, I have no intention on dragging myself thru the mud. Been in many industries for many years and on many forums. I know how this works. I also see Paulo nearly every day working out of the same building. If I thought he was intentionally stealing and misleading people he wouldn't be here. I'm not going to put myself or my business at risk for that.

Sorry but you said this earlier:

So you can guarantee the work you are doing for him and guarantee his stuff made by you will go out but you have nothing to do with his business? Please. There are a basic logic and reason issues going on here. I hope your customers on IG or whatever are aware of this garbage, but I doubt it. Sucker born every minute. And a scammer right there to take advantage.

Well you know what they say... if you lend a man $20 and you never see him again, it was worth it. But if you pay $385 on Kickstarter to a professional knifefaker and see nothing for it... it's only worth it if you learn your lesson, and come in under budget.

Can you actually read? Paulo makes the majority of his knives himself. Occasionally I, as a vendor of his, machine parts for him. He pays me, I make some parts for him. He then takes those parts and makes knives out of them and sells them. What part of that business transaction makes me part of Balzano Knives? Is Alpha Knife Supply part of Balzano Knives because he buys pivots and bearings from them? Is McMaster-Carr part of Balzano Knives because he buys 4-40 screws from them? I am not part of Balzano Knives. This is basic English, I don't see why it's so hard for you guys to understand this. I am machining some parts of his FOU's, as a vendor, and I see with my own eyes the progression of them that he is making. Regardless of us working within the same walls, I am not part of Balzano Knives.

The point Cray is making is that you said:

"FOU's are currently in process and will be completed shortly, I can guarantee this."

If you aren't a part of this guy's business, then how can you guarantee anything? If you aren't attempting to defend your scumbag broheim, then why are you making statements talking about what you can guarantee? How can you guarantee that people are going to get the knives they paid for?

I can read just fine. I also seem to have made my way through life knowing English fairly well. What you seem to be missing are all the things you say. If you make stuff for this company and you guarantee a product then you are part of the company. Need more evidence than even what you have said (read what you wrote again first)? Take a look at what everyone else is saying. No one agrees with you. You are the one having the problem understanding here. You defend him, you work in the same space as him, you use the same equipment, you work for him, you guarantee his products. You might as well be him. And that is not something to be proud of. If I were you I'd stop going around tell everyone all this stuff and fighting with people. It is a poor way to do business and a poor way to go through life.

What do you call selling the same knife to multiple people other then stealing, at the very least that is the definition of "misleading".

To be fair to some of the people in here. Several people bought and paid for completed knives they were shown. They just didn't know that they were all being shown the same knife.

Regardless of his past history, based on IG posts, Paulo Balzano appears to be doing everything he can to redeem himself. He's got my support...

It sickens me to think people would even consider messing with his kickstarter campaign...whi knows. Funds from that may actually give him the ability to make good with past customers that were eager enough to pay for anything in advance.

Isn't it fair to at least give him a chance? Takes some balls to even show up again after all that crap going down...
