It's possible, given the button-lock mechanism. It begs the question, though -- why would you want to? You could spend time and money converting a 300-dollar automobile from manual to automatic, but there wouldn't be a lot of point to the result.

I don't think asking if people like a knife gives someone the right to continiously pay out my knife once i have asked him 2 stop. if someone talked 2 me and said "your house looks like garbage. its crap. its a waste of money, etc" i would b very offended. I feel the same way about the extent of paying out from this user on my knife. not that it matters, but i couldn't help but have a little laugh at the infraction because i think u made a mistake with what you quoted for it. the bit u sent me in the infraction notice was me saying "i appreciate your post" to another guy...
 
If you posted pictures of your house and said, "Hey, like my house?" and it was full of garbage and looked run down, people would post and say, "Your house is full of garbage and looks run down." If you then continued to post pictures of more rooms in your house that were as bad, and people continued responding to them truthfully, would you then get upset?

You copped an attitude over something you shouldn't have. Let it go and learn something from it.

mate u obviosly are happy 2 pay out my knives more. moderators saying things like this doesn't do much for my respect of the forum. can u please lock this thread, i no longer wish to know opinions about this knive, it has been made quite clear what people think. I edited it out because i didn't think it was appropriate for others then the intendid reader, i see appropriate and wrong as different things... i made it clear in my private message to you that i can understand you sending me an infraction for what i said. I cannot however understand u taking sides and paying out my knives.
 
If you are not interested in the opinions of this junk, maybe you should not ask for them.

We don't lock or delete threads here without good reason. We do allow people to voice their opinions especially when they are asked for them.

mate i disagree very strongly. i could argue just as much that i was voicing my opinions about phil. continuing to payout my knives several times when asked to stop is offensive - i don't see how u can't understand that. I am interested in constructive criticism only - not comments intended to make me feel inferior due to the knives i own.

You asked for opinions about your knives, on a forum devoted to the discussion of knives. (That forum also has rules against insulting other members, which you broke.)

Your knives are crap. Your approach to this thread also leaves much to be desired. If you "feel inferior" because the knives you wanted us to applaud are "worse than garbage," in Bastid's words, then that is your problem. We are not here to make you feel good about yourself, or to lie to you when you buy crap and think you are getting a good deal.

listen mate - 3/4 of this forum is comments from people saying they don't like this knife. i understand that, and don't mind their opinions. however, when posting comments such as "these are garbage" and then being asked my me to stop posting negative comments about my knife this user has posted many more negative comments. I understand y u sent me an infraction, and u should have by the site rules - i am not disagreeing with that. I do however feel that you are biased towards phil and are siding with him paying out my knife inapproprately. I feel u are doing your job as moderator incorrectly in doing this.

Why would you need to copy them when they're in the thread for all to see? I've not been insulting. If you are insecure about the knives you buy after being informed that they are crap, that's not my fault -- nor is it the problem of the BFC membership.
