I suspect Charlows ignited/re-newed an interest in this tried-and-true pattern for many people. I know it lit my fuse. Charlie, you have my gratitude. The hunt continues.

I don't have a Barlow to share, Just a Barlow story...

My brother asked me to fix the rosewood handle, cracked, on his old, 1930's?, Barlow.
Wanting him to be impressed that I had salvaged grand dad's old knife, I spent hours on it.
I cleaned the old greasy knife, epoxied the handle, used Flitz and a tooth brush to remove the oxides, and sharpened it.
It looked barely used when finished. :)

When I returned it to him, I said something about grand dad and carrying his old knife.
He got weird look on his face and said that he picked it up for a dollar at a yard sale....

Now that is funny! Thanks for the laugh. I'm sure it's much more than a yard sale knife to him now.

Indeed a nice CSC, bonzodog!

And I am lovin' those mandalas, Jon and Monk!!
I'll take the blame!!

Back at'cha :)

If you get a chance, I would be curious to see a bit more of the Diamond Edge and the Keen Kutter. Any guess on era and maker on those?.. The bolsters have some similarity.. Also curious about the one stamped Barlow, open pic please? Camillus 1950's?

Thanks guys. Charlie, if I had a scanner like yours I'd never get rid of it.

HondaScoot, I agree with Gary... that's pretty darn funny. :D

Very nice barlows, bonzo and addylo.

Jon, I will oblige this afternoon. Yes, the one stamped "BARLOW" is Camillus, probably '50s/early '60s.
