Barlow Showtime come one, come all!

My collection is small.

S&M Antique bone, an Imperial baby barlow in red, an Imperial Diamond, my Case granddad, and an Ulster 10OT.

Lots of time went into getting that minty Ulster. :D

Did you post pics with this, S&S?? I'm not getting them if you did!

Nice, I am not a huge Barlow fan, but I do like the one I have.

New for 2006 Case 6.52009 Bonestag with Spearpoint main blade.

That looks like stainless. But I thought all 6.5 bonestags came in CV. Am I wrong about that?

I can't resist, although I've posted these pics before, when somebody mentions Barlows I must post them again. I love Barlows.

Waynorth, outstanding collection of Barlows

That Cripple Creek Barlow looks really nice also.

Man! Opening a show and tell thread with you guys is like opening the doors for the gals on a shoe sale. Flip the latch and jump as far to the side as you can! :D

Great pics! I guess it's one of the draws of the barlow pattern that a gathering of barlows can cover the range from old knives that have been carried to the finest handled show pieces and points in between, and all of them are interesting and great to look at.

I'm still waiting to see the novelty barlows show up. Someone out there has to have some Roy Rogers or Betty Boop handled barlows.

You guys sure are fun.

Roy Rogers was known to carry a Barlow knife. The joy of my Barlow collection would be to acquire a Case/Roy Rogers Stag Barlow. Not one of the novelty knives I think you're reffering to.

Some people know that I credit my love for stag handled knives to Roy Roger's Stag handled Colts.

These are the barlows that AG Russell had made for him by Boker. Black micarta, olivewood, cocobolo and bone. The bone one was backorder for a couple of months and when I did get it there was a letter from AG stating that Boker had screwed up. The other three were marked AG Russell on the tang of the primary blade and the bolsters were plain. The bone one has AG Russell on the tang but bolsters had been marked Boker.

Nice collection Phil! The Hen & Rooster is tasty! I love that style of bolster, as it lightens up the feel of an otherwise bulky knife. I carried a Robeson of the same proportions for many years. I will post a pic, by and by. Very nice bunch!!

Here's another little group, including a Gardner, which, according to LG4 is pre-1883! Also an amazingly intact Empire possibly pre-WW I. And an all metal knife, cast iron or steel handles from Waterville cutlery 1843-1913.

Here are a few of mine. I have a couple more boxes to unpack, so I probably have more. Top one is an old Russell (1880's or so), Next two are Camillus, Then a schrade, Germania Cutworks, and another Russell at the bottom. That Gardner is my favorite ine in this thread so far Waynorth, very much my style.

Nice bunch Rivit! I see you like the old ones too! I'll post a couple more oldies soon. Just gotta scan 'em etc. (after I find 'em that is!) I need a secretary.

Great thread! Lot's of good stuff. I haven't had some of these Barlows out for quite a while.
A good time to get some photos of 'em. I like the secondary blade on this fella.
