Might wait ( 2 weeks) for the regular version (Combat Grade?) as I have two SHBM users already. And that clip design is sub-optimal for batoning.

Where is the long awaited LBNMSHBM???

Visually, I've always thought the swedge-ground SHBMs would look even better with an inch more blade.

It looks like there is some NM treatment around the talon holes. So maybe this is the LBNMSHBM.

Let the price speculation begin!

Going by the pics posted in Blade back in March, I don't think it will gain an inch of blade in the choilless configuration. The picture made it look like the ricasso would be identical in length between the two versions, so maybe an extra half inch or so in reality?

This is the LBNMSHBM. :D :thumbup:

The clip is not sharpenable. It simply aids in penetration and offers a little weight reduction at the tip for a slightly faster blade. . . . :thumbup:.

NMFBM LE w/11" blade = $797

Hard to imagine the LBNMSHBM LE will be less, especially as limited to 300 pieces and with the LB treatment adding production time and $$$.

But I hope you're spot on, Guy. :)

hmmm ... thinner knife, less INFI + anniversary celebration pricing = lower cost
