BCCI Sambar stag 110?.

Yes, it will be a few weeks. When I know something definitive, I will post it here so please be patient.
 
...I posted these pics of my BCCI 110 drop point on another thread...I kinda thought it should stay in this thread as it was started long ago. Lord knows we have enough "dangling" threads around here already...LOL...
I sent my BCCI 110 back to Buck for purely subjective reasons on my part...I thought the "bark" had been ground too far back. I was left with about 40% bark all around. These pictures are of the BCCI 110 drop point that I received from Buck yesterday. The Stag scales are absolutely gorgeous (in my opinion)...There is one small subtle difference between this BCCI 110 and the one I sent in...





 
Darryl,,,,,,,,why did you settle for this "subtle difference". Just curious?

Is it really that subtle ? :cool: :D

And this one is Wayyyyyy nicer than the other one. :thumbup:

...I just got this knife yesterday rodent..and I haven't really had time to sit down and talk to anyone about it at all. Joe can't spend all day reading emails or even monitoring this forum as he does have a "real" job to do...LOL...I just wish my job was a "pretend" one that I didn't need to go to every day...I'm just plumb tired :yawn: this week and have a hard time directing my thoughts to the knife. I'm sure Joe will get back to me with some meaningful suggestions...The scales are really nice though and I'd hate to think they could get messed up...:confused:

Yes, the scales are really nice. I guess if you keep this one it will possibly be a truly one of a kind. Least as far as what it is supposed to be... unless I am totally off on the "subtle difference" which I wont say , and let the others have a crack at it. :D

Was this a mess up or your request?

Darryl...I'm thinking that I would try and keep this one, I really like it...a one and only...and try to get another BCCI 110. JMHO, Preston

PS Maybe Joe will send your other one back!!!

...Preston and Larry...I was so happy with the scales that it was a few hours later that I finally noticed the "subtle" difference...If I was better able to afford another, I'd do just that Preston...Bills are just nailing us big-time lately, like I'm sure they are doing to everyone else and the wife has already made "snide" comments about that very idea to me...LOL...something about my head and a baseball bat...:eek: :eek: :p

Same thing happened to me on two (yeah, I have a problem buying two) of the same BG42 customs. One was and one wasn't. Both were supposed to be with.
Took about 20 minutes before I noticed. Now I am wishing I would have left it, but sent it back so they are now both the same. But can always buy another of those.

Besides, you probably have the blade and frame. They probably just rescaled it. Can't imagine they have any S30V blades laying around if there is a 10 count backlog per what LO has said.
 
:D If it was the original frame it would show some evidence of the "subtle" difference though...Hey!!...Maybe Jeff Hubbard will beat someone over the head with the one I sent in to them and send it back to me with "body parts" on it...EWWWWWW...LMAO...I'd just wipe 'em off ya know...:eek: :eek: :eek: :cool:

Yur right.... where is my mind on the frame part.. :rolleyes: Went south on that one... But I bet you have the same blade.

I guess I am a bit behind, or one, today. Just got around to reading the other thread that talks about it not being a finger grip.

And saw Joe's response. Am sure he is using all the right words to his teams. Been there, done that.

...Okay...Now that we're back to the stuff ya do in the forum, I gotta let ya all know what's transpired over the last week or so. Instead of one(1) BCCI drop point 110... I am now the proud owner of two(2) BCCI drop point 110's...One without finger-grooves and one with finger-grooves. I couldn't be happier. Both are just beautiful. ...:D
 
yeppie !!! i got my 2ed club knife yesterday!! this one has the best stag i have ever owned !!!
it makes the first one a small bit of disapoint ment tho as this is so nice!!! the first one has a lot of the bark off it like you guys were talking of... wander if i can do as you did and get a diffrent stag put on it...
this is the only club knife i have not seen on ebay as yet...or has one showed up? i could not afford to get the matching 112 club knive...
wander what one would bring?
at any rate this 2ed one is the show case knife... it is that much better then the first one i got...
has every one got both they ordered?
