Be thankful for the SNARK!!

Snowed half the day here and then turned into rain. We might have hit 40 this afternoon. I say bring on the cold! I'm ready for some ice fishing.

You wait. Once mine is all broken in and I can flip it like a balisong, you're going to be so jealous.

Flip, flip, flip. Bam! Pliers.
Flip, flip, flip. Bam! Screwdriver.
Flip, flip, flip. Bam! Bottle opener.
Flip, flip, flip. Bam! Serrated blade.
Flip, flip, flip. Bam! Wire Stripper.

Except....no flipping required for the bottle opener....which is real handy when using it after the first couple of bottles.

Over the years, the Big Orange Xmas specials have sucked me in, one at a time.

Bought all of those myself, gave a few as gifts. Sidekick came with a little keychain tool, IIRC. The Skelly's the best deal of 'em all so far.

It was a nice day here as well. Tshirt weather. Very nice.
It won't last.

IMO, it shouldn't have lasted this long, anyway. Sposedta be in the 70's tomorrow in Boston. We New Englanders are in danger of losing our "winter shorts" cred.

Haven't been around these parts in a minute... I don't know what I missed... because sorry, ladies and germs, I'm just not gonna read through all them pages of snarkery... :p

Nothin' but kindness to any who may be in need of support. :) If I can help, just let me know.

To everyone who's doin' fine, keep on rockin'!

Scored a brick of Winchester 22lr today. It's the first brick of 22 ammo I have seen in town for at least 2 years. It was $31 and change, but he said they only had 20 bricks , so I grabbed one. I'll have to get the 10/22 out tomorrow and shoot a few rounds before deer season starts at noon.

Congrats on the brick. .22lr is getting a little more common around. But still not common enough.

Do y'all always start at noon on a Friday? We start 30 minutes before sunrise on Saturday.
Not that I'm going to make it out, but a fellow can have a pretend life can't he?

Thanks. I went in the store for something completely different in the sporting goods section. I guess I was in the right place at the right time.

Yup, we always start our season on Friday at noon. No idea why, but it has been that way for as long as I can remember.

I'm guessing it extends the weekend a bit to include the Friday evening hunt.

You assholes just cost me $150 and I'm happy about it at least until my wife finds out. I got the leatherman because it has been on my short list forever. While I was there they had a Dewalt drill that was as cheap as the batteries for my makita that went bad. Anyway I might be in the doghouse later but for now I'm all good!

She never has to know......unless you retract the "a$$hole$" comment.

Otherwise....yeah, nevermind. There's plenty of $h!+ my wife doesn't need to know, either. Semper Fi.

That's one of the reasons I love mine so much.
