Made a little easy on/off belt loop for my Cam 11. Pretty easy to knock out.....though I have to unsheath it for the bottle opener function.

Looks good from here. You've gotta have a convenient carry system for a blade otherwise it gets left behind.

That does look nice. I've got to find one of those Camillus 11s to complete my set.

Gah, never even seen a Cam 11 for sale...
I need any 11...tho a Cam would be something special. I'm holding out for a stamped one.

GSO...I have a couple of friends starting with pigs. One is breeding, another just got some acherage and I introduced them. He bought 5 about a month ago and they're already sold for Christmas dinner. Seems pretty simple and lucrative. Goats are a bit more complicated unless you're doing straight meat. The Hispanics around here buyem up quick, and pay extra if you let them slaughter them at your place. Good luck with your venture and keep us posted!

KA-BAR stamped 11s aren't all that uncommon on the Bay. I've picked up two of them in the last two months or so. And at decent prices.

Yeah, I've def been watching but with the 15's and other discontinued Ka-Bars I've acquired, they got back burnered...

The blindness thing came about a long time ago when people were not getting their vitamins and minerals. Making and producing your uh...man juice requires an abundance of zinc. A zinc deficiency results in a lack of vision.

I dont know how accurate that is but this is how it was explained to me.....

Now the whole thing about hairy palms, I've never heard the explanation. :D

Working on the weekends I have my daughter sucks. That's all I got.

I imagine so. I was fortunate that my ex left me the house and kids so she was getting the weekend visits. Either way, sharing kids sucks.

My brother has suggested we do one of the heritage breeds of hogs...maybe some day. My wife originally wanted to do meat goats, but then suddenly decided dairy instead. The upside of dairy goats is that you only need a few. You breed ("freshen") them every other year (some do every year) and can sell the kids (usually twins) if you don't want to expand the herd. If we don't become a Grade A certified dairy, we can't sell milk or cheese, but can make soap out of the milk and sell that. We'd be self-sufficient on milk and cheese though. We would truly be a land flowing in milk and honey! There are also recipes for soap made from beeswax that we could make from the wax from my hives, so if we could develop a formula for goat milk/beeswax soap, that would be awesome.

I would assume the hair from that general area might be pulled out due to friction and accumulate on your palms... But I wouldn't have any first hand knowledge of such things... :D

There is a truck driver here this morning who looks almost exactly like Ethan (from the pictures I've seen here). I did a double take when he first walked in lol

Damn, WW.....I think yer takin' yer sig line a little too serious-like....y'know, the part about "make bad ideas into terrible realities".....

Its a way of life :D

WW...I just have to say....
Bwahahhaha...sorry brother! Would love to have seen that lol.
Hope ya heal up well and fast.
When I do stuff like that drunk, I know I get what I deserve. Last time I was drunk chopping I came about a hair from taking my shin out, luckily it was a complete miss...lesson learned, the knives stay put when I'm blasted!

ETA: Thanks for sharing!

Bahaha that sucks brother. Heal up fast!

p.s. are you sure we're not related? haha

Oy.

WWood, you're supposed to be Drunk Guy with Knives, not FIRE! *facepalm* (*ow*)
.

HAHA!!

Thanks fellas, its trying to heal up!! ...And i definitely deserved what i got, playing with flammables while drinking flammables is never smart....

Been playing a lot of darts lately. Was always more of a pool player than darts but im liking it more and more the more i play. Playing 301 mostly but a few games of cricket mixed in. Happy i whooped my buddy last night every game but 1. I was on point. He is actually a better player normally but i took ALL his quarters last night LOL..... Now who makes custom 3V darts ?? j/k :D

Speaking of BK11s. I need to order a few up! Makes good Xmas presents. I should order another 11 for me too. Id likely use it more than the one thats all K9 custom. Need to find a good deal so i can order 4 at once. 3 as gifts.... Get one for my father, brother-IL, and one for another drinking/dart playing buddy that lives just down the road a bit....and of course another for me :D

We need D2 or even better some S30V/S35Vn BK11s up in here.

Mmm s35vn 11 you say? Yep im down.

The s35vn #5102 i got is wonderful :D Ka Bar sure did it right!

TBL killed the snark

Missed/lost a nice doe last night. Had a nice broadside shot at 150 yards, all the time in the world, and was nice and steady. Took the shot and the other 2 deer ran and this one disappeared and I never heard it get hit. Searched the area for the deer or blood, and searched where it could have ran to and just couldn't find it. Must have been a clean miss, but I don't know how. Sighted the rifle in last week and it was good to go. The only thing that I can think of that happened, is yesterday when I was getting ready the rifle got bumped and fell over. Maybe that knocked the scope off, but its been bumped before with no problems. Guess I'll have to shoot it again tomorrow before I go hunting again.

Sorry to hear it ac. Always stinks to pull the trigger and not bring one home. What are make/model/caliber are you shooting?

Oh I see how it is! Just because I farted the snark died.

Crappy luck AC :( next time just hold up your 9 and the deer will just fall over for ya.

any of you guys have experience with lakeside planes?

picked up a low angle plane made by them today for $5, most of the paint was intact and the iron was in great shape, just a little surface rust

I shoot a Remington 700 25-06 in a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock. I have a Nikon Monarch 3-12x42 on top and shoot my handloads with H4350 powder and 100gr Barnes TSX bullet.

Hopefully, I find a good doe tomorrow. It's been a while since I've had any venison in the freezer, so it would be nice .

Shouldn't have farted!! Thanks. I'll get one before the season is over.

Today we made on offer on a square 40 acres. It has a year round small creek with fish about 60/40 timber/pasture hills and a very old very small house. It is 9 miles from dads place. No neighbors in site a pond and tons of deer and turkey. I'm super excited and hope it all works out
