The smell is véry good, fruity, smokey. For some reason I always associate a darker whisky with a big palet, and that's where it kinda disappointed me. If it would taste like it smelled, it would be awesome. The taste is a rather flat version of the smell though. You do get hints of everything you smell, but faint. Aftertaste is similar, imo. Definitely not bad, though I prefer other things (Cragganmore, for that matter, is one of my favourites: smokey, peaty,...).
