I'd like to see y'all plans for the JAB handle mods...the whole line is discontinued. My list includes the parangatang and gamestalker. The potbelly is appealing but is total back burner. I really like the stripped baconmaker but its use seems limited in my world. Would be fun to be seen with but there's more favorable tools available in my set.

I went back and forth over the potbelly until I heard they were getting discontinued, then I grabbed one. Haven't used it yet but it's beastly. If you ever wanted a 7" bladed BK2 it's worth checking out. Parangatang is a must-have. As soon as you pick one up you'll be able to feel how good it is.
 
well got some good news and bad news... well not so bad... good news is nothing is broken or dislocated, bad news is I gotta wear a sling during the day because I over extended my shoulder... i've never felt this much pain before, this freaken sucks.

I'd definitely not want to grind one of those AFTER heat.

If you got good pain killers that'd be a plus :thumbup:

Seems all you can get nowdays is tramedol. Just an overblown aleve IMO. No real out of misery relief with that...seems like they're only good for making you feel like crap when you're not taking them because your body has some kind of dependence after a while.

Alternatively, put our ever youthful egos in the mix and it's nature's way of clearing us out and making room for the next generation.
 
had no clue the JABs were going away. I have a first gen potbelly with the hollow grind that I might sell, just to (maybe) get the saber-ground newer version. Sheesh, too much steel, gotta look at the herd and see which ones will be culled...but now I have a beastly 21, and shipping confirmation for 2 15s. Shoot, I think I'm gonna destroy some of the palms outside the office to check how this beast swings.
 
Yup...I just received a 2015 catalog and it came with a separate price sheet with discontinued blades. I'll try to find it when I get home a snap a pic.
 
in other news, got a couple cavitys filled today, not fun


also my new 15 came today, the smooth coating fits that knofe perfectly
 
Dubs Guyon has won ummm 4 knives from the Knife Rights raffles, and like 4 or 5 Esees at Blade Show in um 4 years ?...lol
