Thanks vik. The antibiotics are kicking in, still somewhat weak though. The hardest part is over, luckily.

On the other hand, you guys do give me some inspiration in order to kill time. Made some acorn-o-lanterns as well, it's a fun project.

Especially this guy is going places...

Rain, rain. Wanting to do another hike at Carpenter Park tomorrow, and go back into the woods further, but she's probably gonna be muddy.

Morning folks. I actually slept like one of you daywalkers last night. 1 a.m. to 5a.m. , work was called off at last minute.
You got more sleep last night than I usually do, at night! Crazy ain't it?!

I disappear for a spell and the RBK comes out? Typical.

I miss all the fun.
We were waiting for you to leave so we could release it. Thanks!

Starting to feel better the last two days.
The white spots still gotta go though...

More antibiotics :(
Good news, the pneumonia is almost gone... Bad news, the cancer is taking over. :D

I think I'm going to be doing that, hopefully for "black Friday"

Those are amazing! Very nice work! Such a fun little project and a good way to take your mind off stuff.

I also find it interesting to see the different acorns showing the different species of oak they have fell from.

Thanks you! It really is fun, and my girlfriend enjoyed it too. She was cleaning some chestnuts while I was doing this project. A bit of music playing in the background and a cup o' coffee made it a pretty good way of hanging out together.

The differences in species is a cool thing to observe. I'm planning on going for another short walk tomorrow and gather a few more, from other species as well.

You'll love it!
This thing is a beast!

I'm sure I will man. We're supposed to go to the cabin this weekend, for the first time in about a month and a half. The 21 shall go along.

did you score the one off the other forum?

No, I didn't. I updated my PP account, and was going to, but was a half hour late. It actually sold on this forurm. I said hell with it, and bought a brand new one.

those VZ grips are interesting.

i'm assuming there is some implication that they won't fit all sheaths?
