lol, it is.... yep when I'm outta here on the 10th I will have minimal to no yard work at the new place.... looking forward to it:)

bear I was also raised the same way, course I strayed a little :D

Wider, that's not very helpful at all.... however would make for a great training knife :p

btw, I'll have to look up the 24 as I'm embarrassed to say I'm a little unfamiliar, I think I know what it is then I'm second guessing that thought.. .

daizee, I have a bunch of kaowool, and some forge bricks if you're in need... however I may try to return the two boxes of bricks locally if they will allow me such privilege...

Thanks, Rob, tho it's already packed. I got the Atlas Mini-Forge for heat treating. No smackaroo.
 
I'm back! Just got home from the hospital yesterday. Two weeks in a hospital bed and probably another 6 - 12 weeks before I can get back to work but still really happy to be home. I have had a lot of time to think about a lot of things and lets just say it's made a difference.

I am thankful for any thoughts or wishes, any smoke or prayers that were sent my way. I don't imagine that I'll be getting any "dirt time" this year but who knows. If everything goes just right I might just get a little this fall.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks and that it's good to be home.

on another note, I just realized I hit 4,000 posts... that means one of two things...

1. I'm a post whore (or used to be) :)

2. Maybe a gaw is in order...

probably both, but I may stay with number 1 for the time being :)

ETA: good to have you back RK, take it slow and easy man, mend well with rest... and I agree wholeheartedly any time your health is affected it really does put the 'little' things of life into perspective bigtime...
 
Hope the gathering has had some dry spells. I've been doing some catering the last couple of days and everyone is in love with the ESEE Becker kitchen knives. I suspect there will be some orders tonight. :)
 
What do you think is going on at the Spring Gathering right now?

I heard last night they all gathered around the camp fire to see who had the prettiest tattoo on their lower back. :D
 
They're having a contest: who can make the best de-humidifier with sticks, rocks, and a Becker knife.
 
I've been there. I know exactly what is going on.

Psyop is running around with no pants, Moose is trying to grab someone's scrotum, Derek is wrongly accusing someone of withholding weed from him, Murph is eating scorpions by the handful, and Ethan is trying to cook a tasty meal amid all the shenanigans. :D

I wish I was there.

RKMOORE, glad to hear you are home and healing. hope it goes quick and easy for you. Where are you at, Dallas?
 
Was going to take advantage of the beautiful weather we are having today and do some fishing. Went out to clean my pickup out a bit and realized that my tabs are expired!! Guess that'll teach me. I thought about taking my car, but with the way the backroad are around here in the spring, I wouldn't have any exhaust when I got back. Instead we cleaned the yard up some and are going to grill some burgers. I've got the night off too, so I believe some adult beverages are in my plans too.

Whats everyone else doin?
 
This weather sucks. Sounds like our bhead buds are braving some crappy weather too. I'm pumped to see the pics from the gathering, hopefully I can make the next one :thumbup:
 
too early in the season for scorpions... :)

there are other changes too...

the freebies blanket should be popular :D
