All good advice boys. Maybe ill just cruise down to REI and ask out a cute sales girl who looks strong enough to carry a pack. Wish me luck I'm really gonna do it. Nothing to loose

That's one of the things I don't like about TOPS. They use the blade as a billboard.

Unless they get commission, then be like "Hey, I'll buy this from you, if you have dinner with me" Legitimate blackmail is always a good way to get a date!Good luck, don't let her sell you a bunch of useless crap though!

That is very good news! The thing to remember, there are going to be some setbacks along the way. Don't let them get you too down. Physical therapy is going to be a SOB, make sure you do your exercises when NOT at the gym. They actually make a LOT of a difference. Don't over do them though, if they say do it 4-5 times a day, don't go for 10, you can make it worse!I finally got good news from my doc on Friday. He cleared me to get out of my wheelchair & start using a walker. Only 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day but it's a start. I asked when I'll be back to 100% but he wouldn't give me a straight answer at first. He finally said maybe 6 months if everything goes right. So my new goal is back to 100% in 5 months or less.
I was gonna post a pic of me standing but can't quite keep my balance enough to handle the camera without getting dizzy. Maybe that'll be my short term goal. I hate tbeing stuck here at home but I really love the way my family has pulled together to help me & my wife
And in case I haven't already said it, thanks to everyone here for making this my home away from home.
