Couldn't find a Glock 19 at the gun show, but I did pick up a Mossberg 500 at a good price.
Had a set of Hogue Tamer grips waiting for it at home.
It was a combo so I have the longer field barrel and factory shoulder stock too.

So some dude in front of my apartment building just got TORE UP! He got hit by a car. Guess he shouldn't have been jay-walking. Also, prius drivers are as bad as the rest of drivers when it comes to Saturday night and being drunk.

Sucks man...

My neighbours got theirselves a broken garage door a couple of weeks ago as well. Their car that was parked out front was in first gear when the woman started the car. She forgot to put her foot on the clutch. The car jumped forward and rammed the garage door, lol.

Not to mention all those deadly Obama/Biden stickers on the bumpers...
 
ugh, droppin 200 bucks on text books is always painful. 3 cheers for summer classes....not...

Oh well, i stuck a Case Trapper in the shopping cart, that should make opening up the packages a little more fun :D

I'm assuming no one but a little pride was hurt. In which case that is kind of funny. Only cause I'm pretty sure EVERYONE that drives a manual transmission car has done it!

I just re-read my post... It really does make me sound like a heinous asshole.

I didn't notice and Obama/Biden stickers, however the car was SO surrounded by police, you couldn't see much of anything. OH, the fire batallion truck got lost on it's way here. That was pretty funny... I was actually out getting food and got passed by the truck on my way back home, then I got here before he did and heard him pulling up, look out the window, sure enough... It was him.

Nobody or nothing was hurt but pride. Most people drive manual over here though, so do I. I've never had it happen to me though, I always put my car in neutral.
 
My driving school has a Prius (or two). While I hate driving them I can say they handle quite well when your going 90+ down the expressway.... And yes, they can go that fast.
 
I won't pass my judgement on a vehicle until I have driven it. I've driven the prii... I hate them. I've driven the volt, they aren't TOO bad. I've driven a few other little crappy hybrid/electric cars. I want to drive a Fiskar... Have yet to find someone that will let me. I've driven the Abarth 500, it surprised me. It isn't quite as good as the JCW Mini but it's still a decent car.
 
I finally got good news from my doc on Friday. He cleared me to get out of my wheelchair & start using a walker. Only 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day but it's a start. I asked when I'll be back to 100% but he wouldn't give me a straight answer at first. He finally said maybe 6 months if everything goes right. So my new goal is back to 100% in 5 months or less. :D

I was gonna post a pic of me standing but can't quite keep my balance enough to handle the camera without getting dizzy. Maybe that'll be my short term goal. I hate tbeing stuck here at home but I really love the way my family has pulled together to help me & my wife

And in case I haven't already said it, thanks to everyone here for making this my home away from home.

It's an aquired taste... :D

Really, some relatively clean bones are preferable to "dirty dirt" that was recovered from the site of a dead body in the woods, which is an alternate. Gotta use the real thing to train with -- you can't train a drug dog on oregano! :D

Besides, didn't you have a skeleton wired together in the biology classroom? :rolleyes:

At an advance training my pup alerted on a 1000+ year old bone, inside the drawer of a file cabinet. Their talents never cease to amaze me.
