Yes, Eagle does have the large Becker Patrol packs in stock in Woodland camo. (10 or 11 left when I talked to them 3 weeks ago). It is a lot larger than Ethan's original design.

Eagle did have a couple regular packs in stock but they are now gone. :)

The MOLLE packs are also another design Eagle did based off of Ethan's original. Those are out of production as well. I have a couple of those as well.

I do prefer the Original and the pockets are perfect for anything I have tried to carry in them. Very well thought out design.

I got one large and one small from Eagle and it did take a little time to purchase it Directly. Well worth it in my opinion and absolutely love mine. Use it for everything, not just going to the woods.

With prices like that, the 5.11 bags look pretty darn cheap in comparison. They might not have rain hoods for the compartments, but they're at least available.

as i stated earlier i just picked up my 3rd Eagle Becker patrol pack off Evilbay for 91 Dollars in like new condition.
it has some custom features such as removable side pouches and six fixed long flare pouches beneath the side pouches.

these Deals turn up from time to time...well worth the wait i'd say!...woods

Looks like I need to re-add my pix from the first post. It appears photobucket screwed around some time ago with my albums. I thought I'd cleaned it all up.

There you go with that "thinkin' thing" agin. :D Murphy's Law Corollary 88 - Just when you think you have something fixed, it will break.

well if i were you Charlie...i'd get off the fence and just take the plunge!
From everything ive heard about the rush 72 (including your own accolades about the pack) its an awesome bag well worth the dough!

a bit spendy but perhaps the old "Buy once, Cry once" applies here ...And, if you do get the Rush, then I hope a future review of the bag would be forth coming, of course the BPP is not for everyone amigo, That bag does not exist and never will...woods

I just picked up a Becker Patrol Pack made by Blackhawk. I pulled up pictures to compare and they are identicle. I was in disbelief that I stumbled across one in a surpuls store, so immediately bought it (72$ with tax-so it was well worth it). I haven't had a chance to test it yet. I will get some pics posted soon so you can all see.

you got a good deal - the blackhawk copy is a pretty decent one, it's what I've been using for the past 3-4 years.

I recently emailed black hawk to see if they had any in stock, which they didn't, but they also said they were the sister company to eagle industries and that's why that could make that pack

Straight from the man himself.

I picked up a Blackhawk BPP a few weeks ago. I traded a Norlund boys axe for it. I think it was a pretty fair deal for both of us. I haven't had it out camping but it feels great and carries everything I need.

I recently picked up a spare BH BPP to replace my old one when it finishes dying.
unfortunately, it's black, and I'm not a fan of black bags. :(

i've seen a few BPP in brown, and black. good colors. maybe one day.

also a ghastly one in zombie green, as well as orange camo ;)

I'm looking to find a removable pouch for a specially made BPP
here is the pouch i have and i am looking for another.
they attach using clips and also the compression straps on the side of the pack.
Here is the pack

heres the pouch removed

heres the clips that attach the pouch to loops located at the sides and tops of the pack

If anyone can tell me where i might locate one of these pouches, or can tell me anymore about this particular pack design, it would be greatly appreciated!
thanks...woods
