I want to get the ATI titan for defence carry. From what I understand they're made in the same factory as rock island. The ATI's seem to have a better finish to them though. Rounded edges, polished and parkerized barrel. The only issue I've been able to find negative about the titan is the spring, but that can be swapped with the kimber pro carry. I'd like to get a 1911 in that size but don't want to drop a G or two on one. I'm thinking this would be a good entry level one too start with.

my understanding is that ATI and RIA are different factories -- Citadel is the upscale version of RIA.

What's it chambered in? Most I've seen have been in .308, but maybe yours is in 6.5mm or .350 Remington Mag?

6.5mm. I keep all the brass just in case I have to have them loaded.

It's Bulgarian (Arsenal SAM-7) milled, sent to RIfle Dynamics for their front end package. Added an Ultimak gas tube and SLR Rifleworks lower handguard up front. Rear is an LWRCI Ultra Compact stock, connected via Ace adapter. Needed to cut off the rear tangs, but it's effin' solid.

Selway says they have 'em in stock , but like $50 for 20 rds PCI PSP's.
