Beckerhead firearms

Yup. I've got a DDM4v7. They're absolutely great firearms. I installed ambi parts in mine, being lefty and all.

should I invest in a noveske raptor charging handle

IMO, ambi parts are great even if you're not a lefty.

Here's a VTOR/ BCM ambi charging handle (less bulk than the raptor, which was my second choice) with a Troy ambi safety on a billet lower and a DD MK18 upper.

Charging handles seem low on the complexity scale, if you like it, get it. I have a BCM gunfighter handle, but any bone stock handle would suffice for me. I guess I am fast becoming old-school, meh.

I've got a Raptor and like it a lot. But again, I'm a lefty; if I weren't, I don't know how important it would really be. But it's fairly complicated to work the charging handle with the left with the latch on the opposite side. I actually have to either crank my wrist into an awkward position, or take my finger away from the grip and trigger. The Raptor works great, although I got it because I was thinking about getting a Laserlyte AR trainer cartridge. Ended up ordering a SIRT AR laser bolt though for practice, so I don't really need the raptor for that purpose. Was still a good investment for me. I can't speak to why it might be useful if you're not a lefty though.

Even if you don't go ambi, an extended charging handle is a smart upgrade as it enables you to rack it without changing your master grip or losing much of your sight picture....

There's a small, local company here in OR, Butthead Tactical, that's now making a latch-less ambi charging handle.

I installed one on my AR a few months ago and love it.
I shoot rifle left-handed so it's taken a bit of practice to re-orient my muscle memory to operate the weapon, but I'm getting used to it...

As a southpaw I cannot speak highly enough of the Raptor which resides in my AR as well. It has helped me run that platform so much more efficiently. I also really like my Norgon Ambi-Mag catch.

Picked up the remmy 870 on saturday. Haven't had an oppurtunity to shoot it yet though.
It's about as long as my first car, so an 18" barrel is on my wishlist along with some ghost ring sights (Damn you Bigghoss:rolleyes:), and a 1 shell mag extention. Max legal capasity in a pump or semi auto shotgun is 5 + 1, but you never know when you might need 1 more shot to kill the last tin can standing.

Norse, I am really digging your CZ. :p I tried for a year and a half to find one, only to give up.
Oh, uh, my 870 came with an 18"er and a front bead sight, works just fine. Although I have a set of rings on a 30/30 that are kinda nice. :)

I thought I'd add one of my favorites Glock29 10mm it can be the only gun I need I have added
A lonewolf extended barrel gives me the full power of a g20
A lonewolf 40S&W barrel
A lonewolf 357sig barrel and last a lonewolf 9x25 dillon barrel that can get up to rifle power well over. 1700fps with a 125grain bullet....plus I have every part to replace anything that goes wrong.
Added a beavertail to insure no slide bite, tru-glo tritium fiber optic sights,,,,and Twelve 15 round g20 mags +6 G29 mags...by the way all the barrels are just dropin same mags work for all calibers..View attachment 443479View attachment 443478..

Accidentally added my bond arms but its a great little gun too.
Oh the barrels I have for my bond are 357/38. 45acp. and 45lc/410. next in line for it is either 9mm or more than likely a 10mm can't wait to see what some hot 200 grain 10mm feels like :eek:will be wearing padded gloves for that first shot.:)

Recently got into putting ARs together. Here's my latest finished project. This little guy is untested.

That's a nice pistol!

Thanks! I ended up changing the buffer tube and sling plate, but it still pretty much looks the same.

Happy to say it ran beautifully.

I'd like to get into AR's but I have no knowledge of them when you start talking buffer tubes, gas pistons and such I'm totally lost.

Plenty of videos out there, I had almost 0 knowledge on the AR platform and used YouTube videos and wikis to put mine together.

Same here. I watched some videos on YT. After a few I keyed one up while I did my lower build.

Thanks :) I'm really digging it myself. It feels like the grip's made after a model of my hand, and the trigger pull is just about as smooth as my shooting clubs match guns. I suggest you try again to get one. I have a feeling you won't regret it.

I found the barrel i want for my shottie too now. An 18" smooth bore with rifle sights. It might take some time though, because if my wife sees more money leaving the bank in the near future i'll have to hide the keys to the gun safe from her ;)

How do you like that eotech sight? I'm thinking about pairing one of those with a 3x magnifier on a fts mount whenever i get a Mini 14. Think it would be an awesome combo for deer hunting and general badassery.
