Beckerhead firearms

hmmm....
H&R Buffalo Classic on a gun auction site for a reasonable starting price.
tempting.
even more tempting - the NIB Marlin 1895 cowboy 45-70 9-shot...

How is it that Midway is always out of stock on half the stuff I need to complete a project? Every. Single. Time.

Excellent choice. Mine (from the 60's) shoots MOA with a Redfield scope and XS irons.

Buddy of mine has inherited a Swedish Mauser carbine (m/1894-14). Now I wants one. Who's shot a vintage 6.5x55mm military rifle?

I like the 96/38's a lot
flat shooting, not a lot of kick.

This one is actually the 16" compact model, but the barrel is stamped 336Y, so I'd assume it shares many of the same parts other than furniture.

I thought it might be. Should be mostly the same except barrel, magazine, and wood.

That's cool. I didn't know they made a 16" with a fullsize stock. I knew they had an 18" version but not a 16" adult model. Makes sense though because it sounds like they just put a regular stock on a youth model. Or did you buy it used and the PO did that?

No. Antlers so when mating season rolls around I can prove I'm the alpha male and mate with all the choice females.
