Beckerhead firearms

Just posted this pic to a different thread, though I think it appropriate to put here as well. One of the very few things that makes Becker knives even cooler, is pairing them with firearms. :D

I hear the big one gets really dirty really fast, other than that I hear pretty good things. Keltecs biggest problem seem to be an inability to get enough product produced.

their distribution model is the pain point. the way they have it setup, seems to involve lots of middlemen brokers, who can cherry pick. those brokers then make it a requirement to buy certain packages of crap guns, to then have a chance to get the good stuff.

some dealers routinely, daily have them for sale, at inflated prices, and worse on gunbroker. a lot of gun companies more than likely have limits on price gouging... as they should. the cmr was like $2000 when they first came out. sensible if you are making money maybe? not as a dealer/rep. anyway, eventually the market saturates a lot.

Yeah their Bullpup goes for as much as the next gen Tavor, and while I hear its nice, its not next gen Tavor nice.

i'm pretty fond of the standard Tavor :D

though i'm quite interested in the 300BLK model... or maybe 9mm. pew pew pew.

unfortunately, i also want a drill press and some other tools :D

Bingo! Two distributors have told me this. They can't get the Sub 2K without buying a package with a bunch of other stuff that they can't sell because no one wants to buy it. So if they do buy them (one does and one doesn't play the silly game), they sell the unpopular stuff at close to cost and have to make their money on the popular items or allocate to dealers who have to buy a package and make up the loss on the retail end of it.

Handled a few Kel-tec's recently, the folding ones. Funny. I like the .223 model, absurd as it is.

But what I'm now fantasizing about is a Ruger M77 in 6.5mm Creedmoor, with the barrel chopped to 20" and irons added. *sigh* Already have the perfect scout rifle in my 336.

I am not surprised about your comment on the folding one Daizee. I hear consistently good stuff about it from multiple gun reviewers and from an acquaintance or three that have handled or own one.
Its supposed to be a very nice piece of kit.

I really like that Shockwave. I put a birds head grip on my Remmy 870 one time and shooting buckshot/slugs out of it really rattled my teeth! The recoil was a bit much if you require any kind of follow up shot!

Depends on what you're doin' :D
Helluva driver's gun in soft cars, or a breacher

More than likely if you need one for either of those things, it will be issued to you. I totally want one, but I have no actual use for it other than having fun and looking cool. Now if someone were wanting a SBS they could buy the Shockwave and have fun with it while waiting for the paperwork to add a stock. That route would be easier than buying an 18" gun and shortening it. And possibly cheaper depending on actual street price when they hit stores.
