I've looked at the Cryo too. Seems to be a decent inexpensive knife for sure. I'm with you on the skyline too....bought one on sale to try out and just don't think what its hyped up to be.

GF asked me to wash a pan so she could make supper earlier, so I was nice and obliged by washing the pan that was in the sink with hot water running in it. When I was done I set the pan down on the stove in front of her and said here you go. She looked at me and told me I washed the wrong pan............*scratches head*

Did she proceed to tell you each and every pan you washed was the wrong one? :D

Smoke and thoughts Josh. Hope everything gets better soon.

I'm sitting at my Waffle house, flirting with my waitresses. I <3 my life sometimes!

Saw that cryo too. It will probably be the next folder I get. I have been out of the folders since I got my 350. I did however get offered another 350 NIB for $100. Might have to jump on that like a $2 mother.

Lol, no she didn't. I made sure which one she wanted after the first one.

OLJ, thoughts and prayers headed your way.

CB, how do you like the 350? I have yet to handle any ZT knife so far. I am in on a 560 passaround, but its gonna be a while before it gets to me.

Honestly I love it. It's a great blade to/for me. Probably my current favorite folder. It rights shotgun in my tweener sheath if the zip isn't in that spot. I've played with pretty much the entire line of ZT. Of them, the 350 is just the right balance for me. Not TOO big, not too small. Only thing that I would change is put a regular blade on it, not a recurve as I'm not a huge fan of the recurve blade.

So, random off-topic change:
My sister does volunteer construction work. Lately she has been on the garden and electrical crews. Today was scheduled to go help. Last night I was talking to her and she didn't have a decent knife to take with her. (I knew she didn't.) When I was up at GPKnives the other day I bought a new 14 that I was planning on mutlitating. Instead of putting it under the knife, I gave it to her. A brand new BK-14. I even braided the cord so she could carry it on her hip while she was working. Today when she got home she came up and knocked on the door gave me this HUGE hug and said it was the PERFECT blade. She was doing mostly plastic cutting today. Sheet plastic not a big deal, I'm betting she didn't dull the blade at all. Anyway, apparently all day she was known as the "Knife lady" which is SO out of character of her. She is very much a knon-knife-knut. To the point that she is almost adamant about not using one. She will purposefully use a pair of scissors even though the knife is the better choice.

CB, good on ya, I could really do with a cute waitress about now … I would jump on that 350 before someone else does! (see how easy it is to spend your money?) …

Oh yeah - in on 16!

Getting the gear out and ready for hunting season, My buddy come over, hoo boy, Ever wonder why people dress up like force recon super ninjas to go hunting, just to put the ridiculous amount of required orange over it?
I don't know how civiliztion made it this far without scentlok and the latest camo pattern for the year.

me too, but then civilization didn't have to wear orange for most of history, and I always come home with an empty deer net, so don't listen to me....

Thinking of going with a Fenix LD10, after doing a bit of research.

I like my LD10 a lot - doesn't take up a lot of space, puts out decent light, and battery life is pretty good.

Good deal. I was wanting something smaller than the maglite I carry. 100 lumen is plenty.

cant go wrong with a fenix... especially with common batteries, super convenient/affordable with a little extra weight..

I've had my ld20 for a few years now and it finally broke, (so I thought) i get on the fenix site and was disheartened to find their warranty was nothing like I thought, all kinds of charges after the 1yr that wouldn't make it advantageous to even send in..

however, I found out there is a simple fix and maintenance that they recommend everyone do before sending in the light, I watched the video and sure enough it worked !!!!!! (highly recommend you watch it.. )

I think the ld10 is the perfect size for edc, as my 20 comes with only on occasions... I WILL pick one up eventually... good buy !!!

similar diameter, but only 1/2-1/3 the length.
and the 5 modes are handy, too. (low, med, & high beam, strobe, SOS)

I'm cleaning out the basement today. It's depressing to see how much crap we used to buy and didn't really use.

Not that I think my knives are crap, but that's how I feel about them. Keep buying them, but never really use them.
