Of course I am. Only those would have to come from a collection, as they are not current production. I couldn't ask someone to send me one of their children, now could I? That would be barbaric, think more like Toys for Tots, a new unwrapped gift. We could call it Blades for Beckerheads: For membership please supply 1 new, unopened Becker knife to the Mighty Mod,and Beckerhead #77 for application processing. :) Moose

as a matter of fact, i'll take BK-77s too :) 300 from KaBar? that's a limited supply right there.

i'd guess at less than 50 from Camillus? seriously rare anyway :)

Not bashing them, but they always seemed too flashy for me. I mean, the entire BK line just looks like they are ready to get some serious work done. Here comes the BK77, all flashy and shiny, like bringing a Ferrari to a Tractor Pull. Never really caught my eye, so, ALL BK77 that are sent in as membership applications, must be sent to the Mighty Mod Bladite, not to Beckerhead #077. :DMoose
 
Although I have been absent for awhile, I still consider myself part of the Becker Brethren, and I'm all for some sort of fraternal title...

...let's get this ball rollin' gents (and ladies??)...

OK, OK, how about a sheath for a Becker Knife the winner owns? Moose
 
Why don't we just stick with "Beckerhead," since it's already been in use for awhile. It can't hurt to keep it simple.

I'll come up with some artwork for it you . . . you . . . you Beckerheads.:D

That don't mean you win!!! LOL! Perhaps another contest is in order soon, I am wanting to give away a sheath for something, I just got my hand back, and I'm itchin' to use it. :thumbup:Moose
 
What criteria should we have to qualify for acceptance? I think this should be then next step. Moose

Aw, shucks . . . and I wanted to win so much.:D

Okay, I'm on board with all of this, and I think you're right: we should have a contest. We haven't had one in awhile (since the name the BK-14 contest, I think) and, other than giving you a chance to make another one of your great sheaths, it will raise the excitement level somewhat.

The burning question of the hour is, what kind of contest shall we have? Suggestions are welcome, of course. Don't be shy, folks, jump right in and let us know what kind of contest we should have!

Perhaps — if we come up with something good — Ethan and Toooj might consider sweetening the pot a little, too. Maybe Bladite might want to whisper in an ear or two to help arrange this.

Just in case anyone wondered where I've been lately, I've just had some other stuff going on. I've been lurking, just not posting much.

Acceptance? Ya got a Becker? Ya want a Becker? That'll go a long way toward being accepted, I suppose. You're right, though, we do have to come up with some basic criteria. What do you guys think that should be?

Then we'll need someone to keep track of who's who and what's what. I think we need Bladite to get involved in this, too: he's pretty good at this kind of thing.

Own at least 1 Becker, post pics of it, have 25 posts in the Becker forum of merit, and send me at least one Becker knife, model may vary. I like it. Moose :D

Sounds workable, for the most part, except you forgot the part where they send me a $25 registration fee (hey, times are tough).:D

Let's run with that for awhile and see if anyone else chimes in.

Now, about that contest . . .
 
Becker's been making knives for how long? let make that the thread count... to qualify.. Own or have interest in Becker products, be able to walk and chew gum, hygiene optional..
