Damn, that sucks. Something like that happens to me, I'll be shitty outta.
 
Man, that sucks. AC went out in our Durango this summer, too, but shouldn't be anywhere near that much to fix it.
 
Luckily, I have enough money in savings to pay for it, but it will wipe it out almost clean. I'd rather not wipe my savings completely out, so a few toys will have to go.

Guess I shoulda said its the AC for my house that took a crap. The old Ford pickup and the car still blow nice and cold. Actually the 94 Ford blows colder than the 2001 Daewoo.
 
air conditioning, central air, thing that keeps big guys like me from melting............;)

Went throught the same thing last year...sucked big time! Plus it happened on a friday afternoon and they couldnt get there until monday...a weekend in south 'bama in july without AC is not fun... We got a room at a hotel.

I'm working on it man, I can barely remember how to get in the Jeep when the doors are on.
 
After all the fires we've built in the firepit lately my BK2 was looking trashed. She's soaking in a refreshing stripper solution, gonna go nakers after today.

Now I just gotta find someone to put an edge back on her, hit a rock or two out there chopping wood and the Lansky kit will go up in smoke before it gets the 2 where it should be.
 
Picked this up for a song at a junk store. Its down has a few small tears but is in great shape. Now I have to find out if its worth something or if Im making and under quilt out of it :)

Ok.. this have most likely NOTHING to do with any of the post's in this thread... And most likely it will be of interest for less then non. But: I got a small box/can of goooood quality tung oil (Chinese wood oil) ....And now my BK-2 scales smells like it's been washed in the oil used at Mc Donald for frying chips or something.. I hate the smell of food from my GRIP!!! There.. Blow out done. Have nice day.
 
another vote for flexcut gold.
AC7W as a short term solution, you might pick up a window unit or 2 -- something suitable for a bedroom can be found under $125 new.
