Went throught the same thing last year...sucked big time! Plus it happened on a friday afternoon and they couldnt get there until monday...a weekend in south 'bama in july without AC is not fun... We got a room at a hotel.

micro ductless a/c? minimal intrusion, and can work as heat pump too (heat or cold and/or humidity control)

Its been 104 twice in the last week here in my zip code. Only 97 today.

I just got 2 friedrich portable air conditioners, the kind on wheels that have a hose that runs to the window.

Sooo Nice! Now its cold in here.

I guess it's cool here! We had 102F forecast for tomorrow, but now they are saying 90F. I can live with that, especially since it'll be 75 overnight. Probably won't turn the AC on in the house.

Went to work today for a few hours. Tore the enrober down for the last time, to clean it up. The co-owner that's buying the other half of the business came in, gave me his cell number, and told be to call him next week to talk about a job. We'll see what happens.
