Beer talk

Smuttynose Brewery's Old Brown Dog Ale is excellent. Everything by Duck Rabbit is top notch. I'm also fond of Magic Hat's various brews.

Used to be a devout Bud Light man (Budweiser always gave me headaches). I tried Guiness and haven't looked back since.
If I can find it, I've heard Mackeson's is pretty good. It's brewed in Cincinatti.

I have a mix of brown ales right now and am really enjoying them alot. Had Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale last night and it was great.

Just woke up and am drinkin a beer to start my day and readin blade forums. IPA's are a good breakfast beer. I'd choose one over coffee or a red bull any day. Today it is a Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Its gonna be a good day.

DFH Indian Brown Ale this one is good but truthfully I thought I was drinking a porter. It has a smokey taste good but not like any other browns I've had.

A local brew tonight (I'm in ALbuquerque) - Marble Brewery's Wildflower Wheat. It's a pleasantly mild wheat beer. As the name suggests, it has honey undertones with a bit of hoppiness around the edges. All things considered, it's one of the better American wheat beers I've had, and I consider myself an American wheat fan.

I drank a few Yuengling Lagers in Pottsville, PA (Yuengling's home) over the weekend. Nice and fresh.

Ellies Brown Ale made by Avery Brewing. This one is a pretty good one it has mainly a roasted taste to it. Wouldn't be my first choice for a brown, but I'd get it again.

I haven't had a drop of alcohol since drinking a fifth of Maker's Mark about three weeks ago (I don't think I'll ever be able to drink Maker's Mark again). Woke up the next morning still drunk and annoyed that I'd wasted $50... I was pretty drunk until well after noon. Haven't done that since college. Marker's Mark goes down so smooth you don't realize how much you've had until the bottle's empty. I'm pretty sure the vodka before the whiskey didn't help matters any either.

I kinda want a beer right now, and there's some Blue Moon in the fridge, but I heave at the thought of it.

pabst all the way! maby a southpaw light or most of the flyingdog stuff.

I'm trying Michelob's Hop Hound tonight. It's pretty good, a little more potent than I expected, but not bad.

Leini's Creamy Dark a very nice surprise. This one is a good mild dark beer.

Been out of beer for a while, and just last night, I polished off the last of my Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum with ginger ale. Looks like I might need to make another trip to the market soon.
