Beer talk

Had Newcastle on tap and this is a very different and good beer when it isn't skunked. I don't think I have ever had a bottle of this that wasn't skunked. A real shame.

Newcastle in the can has never let me down, but the last few times I've been to the LC they haven't been stocking it.

Here's your beer talk!!!
If you're a real beer nut case this is the perfect phone for you!!! :D

Picked up the Troegs 12 mix pack recently, three each of 4 different of their beers. They were all winners:thumbup:, there was a brown, a wheat, a pale ale and an amber ale.

I've also had their Troegennator doublebock which I also liked a lot!

Had a Tommyknocker Imperial Nut Brown Ale last night. Not bad at all but watchout, it is a strong beer that is smoother than it should be. A few of these would really sneek up on ya.

Today having a Mikkeller Monk's Brew, pretty tasty, not too hot, since Mikkeller is know for it, but lately have not been dissappointed. Still got a couple of other's from them.

New Glarus Dancing Man Wheat is a very enjoyable lighter creamy beer. This has a fairly mild but good flavor.

Tried a Hoegaarden for the first time. Pretty good, but was just as happy with Point's Belgian White and at a better price too.

WHAT! No one having a brew?

This afternoon so far, a very tasty one, J.W. Lees Harvest Ale (Sherry Cask) 2007 Vintage.

Enjoying a Shipyard XXXX IPA right now (delicious!) and a Cadillac Mountain Stout is waiting for me in the fridge :D

Cheers!

I've been on Sam Adam's Octoberfest binge this week, that's what I'm drinking today too!

Lost Coast Downtown Brown. Not too bad of a brown a little more smokey than I like in a brown. A sixer of Sam Adams O-fest in the fridge.

Enjoying a Shipyard XXXX IPA right now (delicious!) and a Cadillac Mountain Stout is waiting for me in the fridge :D

Cheers!

I'm still trying to get a bottle of the XXXX IPA, lol I have a bottle of the barleywine and Imp. Porter from the Pugsley Series.

Tonight a Odell Woodcut No. 2 - Oak Aged Golden Ale, this one is very tasty, recommended.

I've been drinking mostly vodka lately. But I've enjoyed a couple of Stoudt's Pils the last few outings; a very good micro-brewed representation of the Czech pilsener style.

Just picked up 2 six-packs of Bass Ale for the holiday weekend. Yeah, at my age, 2 sixes is more than enough for the whole weekend. :(

Had a Wolaver's Oatmeal stout yesterday on tap in Vermont, was really great!

Tonight I'm doing a Stone Imperial Russian Stout, one of my favorites!
