That's actually a SOG Tigershark, the SEAL's big brother. You are right about the custom sheath, though.

Any idea about the knife in the above pic, though?

This is the one that stood out the most to me, I'm surprised it wasn't pictured in the begining of the thread. Sog Tigershark.

and this is my first post to this forum but I'm an old forum junkie.
just catching on up on Season 5 before the new season starts and came across this knife in episode 2.
i haven't seen it listed and can't recognize it. I doubt that it will throw in real life as well as it does in the show but it caught my attention.
can you recognize it?

Looks like the SOG hes been using forever, kraton guard looks damaged though, on top and on bottom.
Could be a damaged prop knife used in that shot.
I just recently got caught up with the series as well, watched all of S05 over the weekend!

Great show. John Locke likes his knives. I've tried before to id a couple of them but great job here tracking them down.

That IS the SOG Tigershark, and it really does throw great. The damage to the guard is typical of what happens when that knife is thrown regularly. Terry O'Quinn really does like to throw knives, and he practices with that same Tigershark that his character carries on the show.

STILL trying to figure out what that knife was in the Season 5 finale, if anyone wants to look upthread and try to identify it.
