Hmph. Already had to tighten the pivot. The clip comes off super easy.
Saved 15% (almost $50) off the going price for the 761 by using the code "toocold" from this seller. Good through midnight December 2nd. Free shipping. In stock (shows 10+) as of 6 AM CST Dec 2.

(hope it was okay to post this- don't want to break the rules)
Damn -- that is so annoying.
This knife is clearly made to compete with the large Sebs.
But the Seb 25 comes with two thumb studs (yea!) and you don't need to take anything apart just to adjust the pivot.
On the other hand, I've never seen a Seb that's as slick to open as the 761.
I personally dont like a knife with all the extra holes for 4 way carry options.
There's a difference between having a smooth "hydraulic" feel and having a completely resistance free ball bearing pivot. Sebenzas are not trying to go for that "fall open" type of action. Personally, if I'm not going to flick a knife open, and I usually don't when using a thumbstud, I'd rather it have that smooth hydraulic feel. Flippers, on the other hand, certainly need a completely free swinging pivot.
Anybody know about putting lube on it??? Thinking maybe only a micro dab on lock face but unsure on bearings??? Seems to have zero lube on anything out of the box?
