bereavement: DaveH passed away

Dave will be missed in many ways. He put a lot of effort in BFC and helped a lot of folks out.

Take care Elizabeth. My condolences to you and yours along with respect. I hope the sorrow becomes overshadowed with great memories in time.

I always enjoyed his posting ... and am very sorry to hear he's gone, especially at such a young age.

It's strange how sad this news can make me feel. I never met Dave in person, but of course interacted with him many times on these forums. And even though I only know him "virtually", we shared a community and I feel that I have lost a friend. I imagine that many here feel the same way, Dave was well-liked. Rest in peace, my friend, and prayers and comfort to your family.

I've seen Dave on here for years and his presence will be missed here however my prayers will be for you and your family as you deal with an enormous loss.

Dave has been a fantastic contributor here, and we all appreciated, and still appreciate his presence here.

Our bodies are only borrowed energy. One day we have to give that energy back.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I hope some comfort can be had knowing that he went peacefully, in his sleep. DaveH will be missed, he definitely made an impact.
 
Something like this definatly makes one think of their mortality especially if they are the same age.
