bereavement: DaveH passed away

OMG!!!! I am shocked. Elizabeth, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Dave at the Marlboro knife show. A bunch of us went out to eat after and hang out. We all had a great time. THAT is how I will remember Dave.
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a great asset to our forum and a great guy to deal with. He will be missed.
 
Suprisingly bad news! I am sorry Dave won't be joining us anymore. He was well liked and appreciated here. Condolances to all Elizabeth. Kevin
 
I will simply echo what everyone else has said. Dave added greatly to our online community and will be missed.

I didn't know Dave, but from the outpouring of friendship and compassion here I wish I had. He sounds like the kind of man everyone would have liked to call "friend".

God bless his family in this trying time and may they find strength and peace in equal measure.

Elizabeth, I'm sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed Dave's posts and his sense of humor. This place won't be the same without him. You've got thoughts and prayers incoming from Tennessee.

Very sorry for your loss. Didn't know him but (I've read), "the light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long." He was certainly blessed, in life and in (a peaceful) death. My sincere condolences.

what is meant by 'no words'
is that I could not express how I felt at
hearing of Dave's passing, stunned/shocked
was the feeling as best I can say
