Is that a good idea?Got a nice thick slab of cable Damascus today. Took 6 months and a bit of persistence. Hopefully it will turn into an 11.5" Christmas Bowie. The weld looks very clean where it was cut off, so it should have all the performance one can expect from 1084 to which it has similar composition.

Don't mention the wrought iron anchor chain I got for the guard, that would really spoil the surprise. Is that a good idea?
I mean Nathan’s pretty smart… now he’s going to know what you’re getting him this year.
how do you like the adjustable wrenches?
I just put together a stand for my 2x72 grinder using them. Got the bolts super tight with no marring. I probably should have used my ratchet set for that job as there were 12 long bolts that wouldn't turn by hand.how do you like the adjustable wrenches?
Knipex pliers are awesome.I just put together a stand for my 2x72 grinder using them. Got the bolts super tight with no marring. I probably should have used my ratchet set for that job as there were 12 long bolts that wouldn't turn by hand.
"Pliers wrench" is the name of the tool. Super handy; especially when you have two (one for the nut and one for the bolt).
Totally. Their Cobra pliers are sweet, too.Knipex pliers are awesome.
