I'm starting to accumulate a few Buck 110s and 112s. In particular I've found the 110 slim series to be a great combination of useful size but small/light package. The brown micarta version at lower left gets the most pocket time.

Yep. This one I haven't used really yet, but I have several others that work well. They are good cutters, ergonomic, and the sheaths are very nice. And I like Sleipner, not hard to sharpen, good edge retention, no chips, and enough chrome for me not to worry too much about corrosion. Hope this helps.

Nothing wrong at all with a Becker blade. One of my first aspirations when I joined the forums was to become one of those vaunted "Beckerheads". I dived right into the Becker sub and got to know some of the fellas over there real well - we even get together a couple times a year for a Gathering (have one I'm headed to next week even).

Beckers haven't been a focus of mine for a little while but I still have a small pile of them, ones that I intend to keep.

I've bought 2 Beckers recently as a late adopter. One I enjoy quite a bit, the 9. The other, a Kephart was a bit of a disappointment for the cost so I'm letting it go. Debating getting a 16 in lieu of the Kephart for a mid length blade.
