Not on this one, but the maker offers that as an option to cut wires. As is, the “choil” is designed to pull arrows, apparently. Very thick stainless steel (high temp. molded), more like a hollow ground, double tanto prybar.

These knives are made with archery in mind. The choil area is like a pry for removing stuck arrows.

I think the tool that's in the sheath attaches/screws to the arrow head and then you pry it out. I have one of these knives but it must be 15 years old and my memory is fried

well, hello there!

I'm sorry to inform you that I will not be pursuing a redesign of the LC, (aka LC2) as I think Nathan has something in mind for you all.

Instead, I've finalized my rendering of a Trail Cutlass which will utilize most of a 2' bar of .189" CPM3V. I have a few knives to finish up before I get started cutting steel for this project, but it won't be long...well, it'll be long, just not a long time lol

As a side note, it looks like I'm back in the trail contracting business, so there will be ample opportunity for testing...
