Not to take away from your fine work but the "ugly" jacks featured on the cover are similar to what the Northwoods Heritage Jacks were based on. If I recall, there was some cool history associated with some of those old knives.

I saw this Lg. Sebenza 31 sitting a few pages from the front on the exchange and wanted it specifically because it has the polished ground blade. Today I made an offer that was accepted and when I get it, I’m going to send it to CRK to glass-blast the handles and swap the hardware over to gold. (S45VN steel, seller’s hand)

Count me as another big fan of the Redmeadow Knives Cowbells. The spearpoint blade is my favorite.

John Conner is a part time maker at this point. It is best to go to his sub-forum and sign-up for his newsletter to get advance info on upcoming releases. It is worth the effort to get one of these. Not only is his fit and finish work on the knives excellent, his sheaths are awesome too.
