These 6.5" boners are taking shape...
They are stiffer than you might expect
These 6.5" boners are taking shape. Magnacut at 63 HRC.
They are stiffer than you might expect since although reminiscent of a filleting knife in profile, the nominally 3/32" (0.093") stock is significantly oversized, 0.110" along the spine of the finished blade. The edge is at or below 0.010" prior to sharpening, so they should slice well. Can't wait to finish 'em.

Yes, that’s a S!K GSO10. It is more similar to the CPK HDMC due to the blade thickness. The one showed in the picture was a MC.Looks like a Survive! GSO-10 to me.
